For people with mobility issues, note that the rooms are up two flights of narrow stairs. The room itself and shower are accessible once inside. Unfortunately I had a noisy group of neighbors who came back from partying after 1 am and woke me. I had to ask them to shut their doors and stop shouting in the hall. I don't blame the hosts for Split in the summer, but maybe groups of visitors need friendly reminders not to disturb other guests after midnight.

This is a great location if you are arriving or leaving from Split by bus or ferry, which I was, only 5 minutes walk and a few blocks up the hill. It's across from the green market with lots of fresh fruit, and 1 block to the waterfront and the old city. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, with great AC. Ivana is a lovely welcoming host, and made everything easy. This room was a decent value for Split in high season, but I found Split in July quite expensive compared to elsewhere in Croatia on this same trip. The kebab place on the corner is fantastic BTW; cash only.

Spacious and very quiet room, very clean and with everything you may need! We loved our time there a lot, it was so central that no attraction was more than 10min of foot. Beautiful terraces to enjoy your coffee at too. The host was extremely nice and helpful all the time, the check in/out was very smooth too. We also loved meeting their super friendly and lovable dog. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Split, it was a great experience!

In a great location, near to the port and Diocletian's Palace, but far enough away not to be bothered by noisy bars etc. Our host was extremely kind and helpful. Our room was very clean and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Ivana is very nice and she also prepared breakfast for us. Crepes are very delicious. Location is also very close to old town. Room have air-con.

Ivana was a gracious host. She was very communicative prior to arrival and welcoming upon arrival. On our first morning she made crepes (pancakes) and coffee for us. We stayed in Room 1. The room was great. Average size for a European guest room (fine for 2, too small for more), very clean, mini fridge included, and air conditioning worked well in hot conditions (many times it is inadequate). The location is excellent as well. Would stay here again if visiting Split!

Nothing I didn’t like.

Split rooms was a great base for exploring Split. The host was lovely, ( there was a large carafe of cold mint water and chocolates in the fridge)😊rooms spotless, great location near port and old town and boardwalk. And lovely courtyard. I found it a little difficult to find at first so have posted pic of shops either side of alley where accommodation is (through the iron gates).

Host were amazing. Ivana made us pancakes with homemade jam in the morning. And she washed our beachtowels. Her husband cut us a lot of fresh food just before we left. Location is great. Very close to city center. Room was big and clean. Everything you need. Definitely recommend.

If I have to say something the only thing that we missed would have been a kitchen and/or a little dining area in the room, but the hosts were so helpful and provided dishes for us, so we managed it nevertheless :)

Need to climb some stairs, not great if you have heavy luggage (but the host is wonderful and offered to carry my luggage up the stairs), so it’s still perfect and great value!

Excellent location, clean and comfortable beds, powerful aircon in every room (so grateful because it was so hot this summer), refreshing welcome drink and chocolates on arrival, lovely host!

I only spent one quick night here in between the ferry and the train but it was extremely convenient for that purpose. The room was very comfortable and large, everything was spotlessly clean. I really appreciated the high quality bedding, I haven’t enjoyed such lovely thick sheets in many months of travel. Hvala!

Would have liked 2 more bedside lamps, but this is a minor quibble.

Excellent location in a lovely historic building. Great little shared terrace with lovely potted plants. Handy cheap food market opposite and handy for the riverfront, buses, trains and ferries. Comfortable beds and lovely hosts who gave us fruit salad.
