How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The bathroom is very small so the whole bathroom floods when showering.
Location, amazing terrace, and availability of towels and other amenities. Check in and communication was great too.

We had what we needed for 2 days. Maybe for a longer stay it would be small.
The room had everything needed to spend a coupe of days. Comfortable and clean. The stuff was fast responding and easy to contact. Location wise is super well connected, very close to supermarket and places to eat, and it is possible to walk or take the bus to the old city.

There were a few towels with some stains on it and the shower head broke (on our last day). - however the hosts replied promptly that this will be fixed urgently.
It was close to a few beaches and even walking distance from the old town/ the riva. The staff was very accessible and kind.

no sink to wash the dishes, maybe some glasses would be nice
We had a really good stay, the apartment was clean, close to the beach, shops, restaurants. Lana was very kind and helpful :)

Seating area outside the room needed a little TLC. A few minor tech issues - light bulbs out and leak under kitchen sink.
Lovely room, nicely decorated, very clean and in good location. Friendly and helpful host. 10 mins walk to Sixt rent a car which was useful for us and around 20 mins walk into the old town. Hob, fridge and kettle in room was useful. Nice restaurant next door was very convenient - we took mugs from the apartment round there in the mornings and got them filled with Cafe Latte! Also had a nice dinner there. Lots of supermarkets close by if needed too. Would stay here again.

Staff was nice, place was clean . Toiletries available. Staff ready to help. would have been nice to know about city tax beforehand though but it was only 12 euros sooo. Overall was a good experience

The property is in a very strategic point. It is walking distance to the center, bus stop and many restaurants. The room was very well equipped. Lana was really friendly and she even help us to book our taxi ride from the airport.

Not much. Lady let me in a little early. She was at the property thank goodness. I hate it when, in a foreign country, you depend on your mobile. Spar supermarket close by.

The room had some cables that was just sticking out on the bathroom, lights on the balcony wasn’t working, the shower head holder was loose (not completely stocked to the wall), and it was some quick fixes here and there. My expectations is that the room should be in good shape, at least when it’s only one small room apartment.
Really friendly staff, and a nice location! 20 min walk to centrum. The size is comparable with a smaller hotel room.

The hotel invests heavily in marketing (great pics in the web), but invests little in modernizing the structure. It’s too expensive for what it is.
Location is the best part of the hotel. The host was kind too.

This apartment hadn’t been renovated to look like the photos, instead it was a very large apartment to make up for that. You could see updates had been started. There wasn’t a switch to turn off the bathroom mirror light so we unscrewed the bulbs; and I don’t think the extract vent was working. It wasn’t an issue but just be aware the ‘Tourist Tax’ wasn’t included in the fee, this was €8 for two nights.
The location was still urban with plenty of shops in the vicinity, but in a quieter residential area. The restaurant next door is very good and it’s a 5min. walk to the coast or 15-20min. to the Old City (30min. along the coast). We had a ground floor apartment with separate entrance which was nice. It had everything you would need to go self-board with a hob, dining area, sofa area and terrace. The host was on site and attentive.
