How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Everything was excellent
The room exceeded our expectations. The bed and linen were excellent and the room was well equipped with everything you would need. We would return when we are next in Split and recommend this accommodation.

Modern fixtures and fittings, very clean, helpful short videos on WhatsApp from owner - how to find flat, lock door, find beach. Owner also booked us a taxi.

Our room did not have a great view, but a very nice kitchen/dining addition.
The property is very well located, close to the airport, for a short transition stay, The staff was very friendly and offers a ride to the airport for a small fee. The host informed us about a good BBQ restaurant within walking distance.

Family that hosts this room were very kind. And they gave us an early morning lift to airport, which was very close.

Nothing - all good
Close to the airport - which without heavy luggage is walkable - we wanted to stay overnight somewhere before travelling in. It is exceptionally clean little mini apartment and the hosts were super friendly and welcoming and kind. In the morning, an added bonus for us was the little beach next door.. where we had a walk and a coffee at the beach bar. Thank you.

For my needs (clean, quiet and being close to the airport) it was perfect, for a longer stay it would be more convenient to be near a restaurant/cafe or shops.
Perfect for s short stopover. Short walk from the airport, even late at night, quiet residential location. Exceptionally clean and well equipped small space.

Nothing to not like, everything was great!!!!
Absolutely perfect and pristine apartment. Everything and anything you may need is thought of kept in the property. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. A 5 min walk to the restaurant, so you have options to eat and have a few divisions nearby. Great location, close to the airport. Just what you need when you arrive late at night and need to rest close by. The windows are all double glazing with the option of shutters. You don't hear the planes at all and can have a comfortable night sleep. The hosts are just the most wonderful people, really friendly and extremely helpful. I would come back again and recommend to al my friends. Spectacular stay!!!!

-a bit noisy because of the planes, but it is obvious when you are close to the airport :) -no windows in the room, just in the kitchen (you get in to the room through the kitchen)
+perfect location if you have early flight +comfortable bed +big TV with many channels +kitchen with everything you need (even tea bags and coffee etc.) +separated entrance +contact with the owners +the smell of the shower gel 😉

Great location. Walking distance (12min) to the airport, beaches, and restaurants. It was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The host was very responsive to all our inquiries, even offering transportation to the airport at a very early hour.

Within walking distance to the airport and close to downtown - although I recommend an Uber for downtown. Incredibly clean. Fully stocked. Owner was very lovely and went out of her way to get the apartment cleaned quickly as I had arrived very early. Highly recommend!

Sparkling clean, close to airport, very friendly staff. Comfy bed and kitchenette. Taxis are rapaciously expensive from the Split airport, but they had a pickup service for less than half of the cabs’ minimum charge.
