Nothing really. Air conditioning could have been a little more powerful. We didn’t mind the bells!! The bell ringing was in the style of an early Dom Joly sketch.

Beautiful, calm and relaxed hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast, and excellent for dinner.

We arrived on the island of Brač, which is an amazing place on its own. The hotel is located in a historic building that provides a luxurious, quiet, and pleasant atmosphere. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was excellent, with great coffee. There is a wellness center with a jacuzzi and sauna that can be used privately. We stayed in a room with a sea and marina view that felt like something out of a movie. The room was indeed small, and there was the sound of the bell tower in the morning – but it didn’t bother us at all. Absolutely worth the price. We would come back a thousand times!

AC in room did not work well. It was covered by a bracket that we ended up removing entirely, which solved the problem.

Amazing!! What a very special place! Serene, elegant, historic, and oh so charming. The Palace is set in a quaint village without the bustle of other, more touristy towns. The charm of Puteus Palace is exceptional, as is the staff—attentive, knowledgeable, and perfect hosts. Our week there was simply perfection....the best food and drink in all of Croatia....the chef is so talented! From arrival to departure, the Palace exceeded our expectations! Of all our travel spots, this is the Winner!

The only reason for not giving an oversll score of 10 was the noise at night which was not a fault of the hotel but impacted on my stay. The bar opposite was noisy until 2am & then a few young men hung around for another 2 hours talking/shouting & racing a car up & down which was almost under our window, they left at 4am. It may only be a problem at the weekend, we stayed Fri/Sat. The church bells also ring on the hour & full bell ringing starts at 6am so I had 2 hours sleep. The area is so quiet during the day it was very unexpected, a room at the back of the hotel would probably be quieter but still expect to be woken at 6am. We didn't eat in the hotel at night & only found one other restaurant close by which was a very good pizza/grill but it makes this hotel only suitable for a short stay in our opinion.

Stunning hotel in a beautiful location, we visited for the last two nights of our 10 day trip to Croatia & it was the perfect end to our holiday. Beautiful well maintained outdoor area, garden & pool. Excellent service by all staff, the two that stood out were the young lady who served us at breakfast & Fran who looked after us so well at the pool, very pleasant & helpful young man. Our room was small but adequate for a two night stay, lovely Rituals products in the bathroom. Excellent selection of fresh food at breakfast & hot food was cooked to order. We ate both inside & out, both were perfect for a tranquil start to the day.

Everything was amazing from when we arrived to the moment we left. Staff are very courteous, friendly - but also not intrusive in any way. We ate in the restaurant 4 out of the 5 nights as it’s so good. Special thanks to the lovely Stella and Sasha who served us. We would highly recommend

This is a beautiful old restored palace in a great location in the centre of the village. The rooms are spacious and it has a lovely garden and pool. The best part of our stay was the staff, all of them were brilliant.

Facilities were second to none, particularly the pool, with stunning views of the hotel and local area. The staff were very attentive but not overbearing. The bed was very comfortable and the food and drinks were lovely, breakfast in particular had a wide range of choice and was cooked to perfection.

Guest need to be aware that the hotel is located next door to the local church and the bell ringing can be a little intrusive

The location of this hotel in front of the bay is amazing. The staff of perfect and there to answer all questions. Thanks for the surprise for my best friend in the restaurant. When we will be again on Brač island we know where to go.

...entirely outside the control of the hotel and staff is the fact that the town's church bell is right next door. It rings on the hour, with extra flourish at 6 o'clock, both morning and evening and of course, on Sundays! It is loud and cannot be missed. We are told one get's use to it, but our experience (4 night stay) was that at some point during the night we were awoken by it and certainly at the 0600hrs strikes. That all said, we treated it as part of the charm of the town and such was the quality of all other aspects of our stay, the 'bells' would not stop us returning.

Superb standard of accommodation, service, food and drink. The staff were attentive, friendly and professional, particular mentions must go to Dea, Stella and Sasha. Pucisca is a lovely town, with welcoming and friendly locals. A perfect spot for a relaxing stay...almost...

The ‘wellness centre’ was disappointing - sauna was good but the jacuzzi wasn’t hot and took a long time to even get to lukewarm. Also my wife and daughter couldn’t book massages as the massage person had an emergency and couldn’t work. Minor quibbles in what was an amazing stay

Glorious location in the heart of Puciska, which is a quiet lovely village on the island of Brac. Lovely pool, great breakfast.

Such a beautiful town and such a beautiful hotel. Staff were so friendly, easy going and accommodating. Location was very relaxing away from the busy crowds of the places we had been previously.

Only downside was a mistake at check out when they mixed up my bill which resulted in an over payment. I discovered the error in the car and they were very apologetic and fixed it. So even that was handled extremely well. Good lesson, scrutinize your bill.
