It was difficult to find, difficult to get hold of someone over the phone and it was dirty under the bed. You get what you pay for - it’s an incredible price to stay in Old Town but it was very basic. The mattresses were old and the pillows were of poor quality. The bathroom was very old and the shower curtain a little moldy.

I didn't like the mattress much in my room, it needs a replacement as its already too soft. You can sleep, but it might annoy if you have many days ahead sleeping there.

The accommodation is very central in the old town. Close to Banje Beach, a flat walk can be done through the old town! The accommodation belongs to Pupo Tavern, which has tasty food and friendly staff. I do recommend the accommodation and restaurant!

Felt slightly pricey for the accommodations but the location made up for it. The key pickup from Pupo pub was slightly strange. Convenient and the staff was nice but definitely a new check in experience from me. Finally there were a few, small cockroaches in the bathroom. My guess they came from the construction site next door but the bathroom may need to be sprayed.

Bit difficult to find using maps, entrance to the place was unfinished renovations, door did not close / lock for main entrance but was fine for top entrance. Luckily no trouble in such a safe place overall inside the walls

One of the lights at the night stands didn't work, but am sure it just needs a new bulb. The ceiling light was dimmer than those of the nightstand. Door to room rubbed on floor.

The location right downtown was outstanding - 10 The WiFi and A/C worked fine - 10 Room is simply and as expected. It was nice to have the private bathroom in the hallway. Realized I couldn't change the overall rating once choosing the 8 by accident. Would give it a 9 instead of the 8 due to the location.

Property now exactly as described. It is not a hotel, it is a couple of rooms above a restaurant where you check in at the restaurant with the host. Staff was seemed annoyed that we were interrupting their dinner service while they were the only contact we had with the property owner

Slight concern over security of the accommodation. There was shared access into the building and also into the floor on which our room was located, which relied on other people maintaining security. On a number of occasions during our stay, we returned to find both the front door from the street and the door to our floor were unlocked, leaving only our room door as the locked door. Front door lock was also damaged due to apparent forced entry previously. Additionally, the suggested Wi-Fi connection provided for the room by the host, which linked to the restaurant below, was not working throughout our stay in the room. Perhaps a booster may be needed so that the WiFi covers the rooms as well as restaurant. A further suggestion for the room would be to provide a kettle and cups, cutlery, etc. for tea/coffee making facilities. Also an iron was provided for the rooms, but there was no ironing board.

Amazing location in heart of Dubrovnik Old Town. Good air conditioning. Shower and hot water good, plus plenty of towels provided. A discount on meals was offered to us for the Pupo Restaurant that the room was linked with.

It would be advisable to strongly recommend the guesses to arrive to the Old City thru the main gate. That entrance has a ramp, which facilitates the access to the city with wheeled luggage. Google Maps and Uber indicated the drop off place in a side Gate (next to the Cable-car/Funicular) on the top of a very tall staircase (4 or 5 floors), which was a hassle for us, we had to go down with our luggage, with some extra help. Again, it's not a fault of the accommodation site, but it would be extremely important to advise that recommendation to future guesses.

The bathroom was external, meaning you need to go out of your room through a hallway where you can meet other people. And it wasn’t properly cleaned…The mattress was very old and bad. No toiletries, no hair dryer, no fridge. We survived for a one night, but would not recommend for a longer stay.

We booked a twin room, a twin room was confirmed by the owner yet when we got there it was a double bed. We spoke to the owner at his bar about it but he just shrugged his shoulders and said "she misunderstood" and that was that. We have been friends for almost 40 years but there is no way I am sharing a bed with my mate...... Luckily we realised it was two single beds put side by side to make a double so we did a bit of rearranging....something the owner should have done.

The apartment is in the city centre so the location is second to none.
