The aestethic design of the apartment. You are right in the center of the village, very close to a mini market. The village had many events in the square and you can watch them directly from the window. Also friendly and kind host.

Super friendly, hospitable, polite and lovely couple who are the owners of the hotel. They did everything to help us and make us feel like our home. The room was very clean, spacious, quiet and beautiful, with modern and vintage decoration and a view of the central square of Vodnjan. Vodnjan is a traditional, small, quiet and beautiful village, very close to Rovinj and Pula. There is also free parking near the hotel. The breakfast was perfect with a great variety. Thank you for the hospitality! We hope to see you again in the future!

Nina, the designer, created quiet rooms with elegant furniture. It was great to run in the morning. This hotel is peacefully located yet still central. I especially loved breakfast; we were the only family there, enjoying the slow pace. Talking with Nina was very also interesting. We discussed culture and countries. We even laughed about the Chinese character "好" (hǎo) – meaning "good," with its left side for daughter and right side for son, symbolizing complete happiness.

Everything about our experience was perfect, staying at Piccolo Hotel was the favorite part of our trip. We woke up to the warm morning sun flooding the thoughtfully decorated room. From the window, you can watch the main square slowly come to life, with the first guests arriving at the cafés. Then we enjoyed a nice breakfast with Buena Vista playing from the stereo. Vodnjan is a very charming city, full of locals — quiet and not crowded with tourists, which we prefer. Yet it’s close to beautiful beaches, and you can easily drive to Rovinj or Pula. We found a big playground just a five-minute walk from the hotel, and we also highly recommend the local bakery.

A little noisy when windows open onto main square, but didn't continue late.

Great central location, lovely host and nice breakfast. Beds were comfortable, and rooms had been beautifully restored. Good WiFi. Parking nearby was easy.

Piccolo hotel has three beautifully and stylishly designed rooms, ours was a really spacious one on the third floor with great view on the main square. Breakfast is carefully prepared, the whole place reflects investment and great care of the owners! Highly recommend.

Modestly equipped kitchen corner and we missed a hairdryer.

This doesn't concern accommodation, but the town could renovate the square. Parking lots don't belong in the main square. Otherwise, the town is charming and has great potential.

I recently stayed at Piccolo Hotel in Vodnjan, and I was absolutely charmed by the experience. This small hotel, run by a friendly hostess, captivated me from the start. The building is cleverly renovated, exuding a unique charm. It’s located in the historic center, which isn’t overwhelmed by tourists, but rather offers an authentic atmosphere with plenty of local events. Piccolo Hotel is beautifully maintained, and I will definitely return.

Lovely historical “Piccolo hotel” in the heart of small Istrian town. The building is renovated with respect of the past, but touch of the future. Room is cosy and full of light. Great inspiration.
