How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

We had an amazing time at Pension Antonia in Baška! The location is perfect, with stunning sea and mountain views from the room terraces. The property is surrounded by their garden of fruit trees, and they serve them to their guest at breakfast – such a nice personal touch. The food is at the restaurant downstairs and always delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The highlight of our stay, though, was the hospitality. The staff were spectacular: the owner who accommodated us even though we arrived quite late, the kind and smiling cleaning staff and the attentive and nice gentleman who took great care of us at breakfast. Their warm hospitality made our stay even more special. Highly recommend this charming place – we’d love to come back!

The room was nice and clean, and the air conditioning helped a lot with the hot weather! The included breakfast was perfect for us in terms of portion size and there were salty and sweet options ( and you can get both, if you like!) We also had dinner at the restaurant....an amazing fish plate!! Totally recommended!! The hotel is only 15 minutes by foot from Baska's beach, so you can leave your car there and enjoy the sea! It's also a perfect starting point if you want to hike along the coast, reaching the Vela Luka beach.

Breakfast service was quite slow as it was served by a staff (you have to wait until the food is brought to your table), so if more people come for breakfast, they had to wait until others are served. If you are in a hurry in the morning, it can be an issue for you. Also do not expect anything big or wide range of choices for the breakfast - it is simple and just to not go with empty stomach on the beach ;-).
Hotel is run by nice family, so it is calm and friendly place. Accommodation was comfortable, simple and clean. We spent most of the time in the Baška city, so we went to hotel just for night to get a few hours of sleep and then going back to beach after breakfast. Air-conditioning in the room was working perfectly. It is ~15-20 minutes far by walk from Baška beach, but if you do not mind this distance, it is great place to be. Breakfasts were served by old man so it has nice and interesting atmosphere. When you wake up early, you can sit also on the terrace with nice mountain view - there are only three tables on the terrace and they are occupied first :).

The lack of a refrigerator in the rooms.
The view is amazing. The room is small, but the bed is very comfortable. The beaches are a little longer walk away, but can also be reached on foot. The breakfast is very delicious, plentiful, and the staff is kind. You can also have dinner on site, there is a pleasant small restaurant attached to the accommodation. It is a good starting point for excursions and beaches.

A fridge would be nice to have in the room, it was very hot .
Free parking, easy to find, very good breakfast, clean place.20 minutes walk from the beach, supermarket 10 minutes walk. AC was working great. At night when the wheather was cooling down you could sit outside at the balkony having perfect wiew for the mountain. Perfect location!!!

Considering the price we paid for two nights (180e), room was small, bathroom old and very small, we didn't have fridge which is absolutely impossible to be without in summer weather on hottest island , owner even admited one of the reasons is to make you buy cold beverages at their restaurant. There's a paper in the hallway that says it's forbidden to bring food into your room. Flat screen TV is a really small tv with channels only in german. Breakfast that was supposed to be coffee and orange juice were just really watered down coffee and cheapest orange soda, omlet was plain without any veggies or sauces and was served after sweet food (crossiants, homemade plum jam and pancakes tomorrow day were tasty). To sum up, it is just not good value for money you pay.
Location is really nice, we had a balcony with view of mountains and nice shaded parking spot. Room was clean and AC worked. Owners' granddaughter was really helpful and kind.
