A lot of lizard and other bugs will go into your room it you let the door open for too long, but thats not a bad thing, just be careful.

We stayed here 5 nights and overall it was fair for the price. Breakfast was pretty good, altough the eggs selection could be a little bigger. The staff was exceptional, very helpful and kind. For its location it is like a 15 min walk from the main street and the beach but the walk can be really challenging, so be prepared! The room was small but tidy.

Only thing inadequate is that there is no swimming pool! Most pansions do not have one, but Pansion Komfor Moca is bigger than most pansions in Makarska. Traffic can be a bit noisy and busy sometimes during the day so use the pedestrian bridge or the tunnel under the road.

Rooms are bigger than rooms in other guest-houses in Makarska. Excellent view of the sea and Makarska Harbour, Hvar Island, Brac Island, and the view westwards along the coast and mountains. The sea looks beautiful in the morning and sunsets are spectacular! Do your best to have a room with a balcony! Located in the best part of Makarska above Makarska old town with free and easy parking, above Makarska Old Town, easy to walk into centre in ten minutes. Makarska Harbour is great for excursions by sea to the Islands and also Inland. A car ferry goes to Sumartin on Brac Island. If you arrive at the bus station in Makarska the Pansion Komfor staff will gladly give you a lift to the pansion, and when you leave they will give you a lift back to the bus station. Restaurant is well regarded by visitors.

For us personally, everything was great — even better than we expected. That said, I’ll repeat that this is an ideal stopover spot. If you're planning to stay in Makarska longer, enjoy the beach, and spend more time in the city, I’d recommend looking for a different place. Since the hotel is located on a hill, it’s quite a walk to the beach and the town center — and the way back uphill can be especially challenging.

A perfect place to stay for a night or two while passing through. Convenient, free parking. Stunning sunset view from the window. Great breakfast, which in our case was included in the price. Friendly staff, always ready to help. Even though there’s a main road nearby, it’s completely quiet in the room — you don’t hear a thing.

This is nothing the property can help with - there was a lot of street noise, so if you are a light sleeper take your earplugs.

Staff are super friendly and kind, happy to help with anything. Breakfast had huge selection and was also very tasty. Air-con gave us okay conditions to seep during very hot night. Room and corridor shiny clean- we stayed at top floor. Shampoo/shower gel were provided, room had a hair drier. This was the only addition in the room thought.

It is 15 minutes walk to the Makarska beach or historical center of Makarska. The effort to go down and up, everyday at least 2 times is pleasant. But is a great plus to have free parking at the pension. I think you don t need a car in Makarska, If You intend to go for swiming, or to eat or visit the old center.. If you insist to go in the old center with the car, you will pay 4 euro/hour or 40 euro/day. You don t pay parking, you will pay a tichet:)

Towels changed everyday. The shower was excelent! I recomand this for all romanians and all tourists . Hope to see you soon guys!

The staff is second to none. It is very cool that the room has air conditioning. Conveniently, breakfasts are available. Great view from the balcony. Close to the historic city center.

Every time you go back to the hotel from the city, you go steeply uphill. On hot days, it is horrendously difficult, so take that into account.

This is a suitable accommodation for a few days in Makarska for both singles and couples or larger groups. Great location; everything is close; right next to the hotel is Studenac Market, and other shops and the beach are close by. From the bus station, it is only 1 km. For those with autos, there is a large area in front of the building to park your car. The facility is very clean and well-kept. In the morning (07:00-09:30) good breakfasts are served: quite enough food to eat almost the whole day (eggs, mortadella, bacon, vegetables, fruits (large selection), pancakes, croissants, pasta salad, over 10 types of tea, several types of instant drinks, butter, jams, honey, cereals, and milk; at the bar you can ask for coffee). Room with nice balcony: beautiful view from both the sea and the island of St. Peter, as well as the mountains. Despite the busy road running right next to the hotel, the room is quiet. The room is tiny, but it was just right for one person. Modern equipment inside and clean bathroom, AC in the room, small fridge, fast Wi-Fi connection. At the reception, it was possible to print my boarding pass when checking out. Special thanks to Sanja, whose communication process was perfect both before check-in via Messenger and during my stay. She is a really kind and nice person. Hvala vam puno gospođo! 🤗
