Only thing i would maybe change would be the choices at breakfast - they stay the same every day and one of the options (minute steak) was never available- the quality of the breakfast however was very good every day!

Staff and Hotel are amazing. Any wishes were fulfilled, we felt like if we needed anything ever they would take care of it! Special big shout out to Ben who was the most kind and lovely person ever, we are already looking forward to seeing him next year!

The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The breakfast was really good quality. The location is a lovely 10minutes stroll from the town. We couldn't have asked for more.

Dinner menu can be wider. A bit messy climate control in the room with blinking "doors" on the screen all the night. Door stopper in bathroom :).

Very new, design, high quality hotel in good location short walk out of crowdy center and closer to beaches. Very comfortable rooms and beds, spacious terrace and bathroom. Super friendly and helpful consierges (Teodora and others as well) and all staff. Delicious breakfast and dinner. Very good massage - reccommended to use. Jacuzzi in SPA - one of the best.

Attention to the details which you dont normally get in bigger hotels, friendly staff, amazing “a la carte” breakfast with plenty of options and great coffee, cosy room with a beautiful sea view. The spa is small but very nice, also not that busy during the low-season. A great place for relaxation. The location is also great - few minutes away from the centre of Novigrad.

Well, there isn't something to not like

Very nice spa, very nice and cozy and spacious suite, great bathroom, super breakfast, super garden, location very good to walk around in Novigrad and easily travel around Istria along the western coast. Staff is very kind and helpful. It was a joy to stay and we will be back.

Modern room with nice bathroom, staff was friendly welcoming and thoughtful (special thanks to Sam from the restaurant and the lovely and helpful Marina from the front desk. Breakfast is top notch, make sure you try the Istrian specialty « Strukli » (sort of pie with truffles). Evening à la carte restaurant is better than what we had in Novigrad.

Marina is wonderful. Sam is the bar is great. The rooms, service, food, and atmosphere are all first class. Everyone was so helpful in trying to help direct us. The breakfast is so delicious and such a fantastic variety. Definitely recommend this hotel. Attractions are very close and you can walk to a variety of places.

The eye for beautiful architectural detail and sophistication in every corner. It’s right by the sea and overlooking the city of Novigrad and a short walk away. The food is delicious and the spa offers a unique getaway. In the end the staff is so so nice and helpful!

Price was too step for a 20sq meter room.

Location was fantastic, the building structure is immaculate. The sorrounding areas are great for a morning and evening walks. Attention to detail at breakfast was wonderful.

I had the pleasure of spending a delightful vacation at the Palazzo Rainis Hotel & Spa, and what an experience it was. It is difficult to find any drawbacks in such an excellent hotel. Perhaps the only remark is the relatively small, perhaps too-small spa. Also, the hotel can improve the selection of pillows. In light of the hotel’s advantages, there is one drawback, however - the price of staying at Palazzo Rainis Hotel & Spa is high. Hence, every detail or slip in service is easily spotted. I do not doubt the team will have improved by our next visit. For hotels in the top tier, service is similar to professional sport - you have to perform at your best at all times

Wow, what a boutique hotel. In contrast with general trends of minimalism, the hotel remains loyal to the iconic and timeless classic style. Palazzo Rainis Hotel & Spa is charmingly opulent and can easily compete against other luxury hotels. The lavish decor and select furniture are a feast for the eyes and will thrill lovers of high-end design. The hotel terrace with a pool grabs the attention of curious onlookers throughout the year. We can easily imagine the terrace as a place for car launches, gala dinners or spectacular weddings. Extraordinary.
