Perfect location in centre of Cavtat, large extremely comfortable beds , apartment is so clean and bright, views from terrace are beautiful especially at sunset!, Lily and Harvey are perfect hosts treating us to homemade cake and fresh figs , they are always available if you need anything,we hope to return again soon!

Well exceeded expectations from the start. Good communication from the hosts before we arrived. The hosts were so welcoming and warm kind people. The apartment itself was stunning! A beautiful building with fantastic history and very respectfully renovated with such attention to detail. All the facilities you could ask for. The location was fantastic right on the docks. Palace Peranrus exceeded our expectations in every way. From the warm welcome by Lily and Harvey, to Lily’s delicious homemade treats, and Harvey’s fascinating historical insights about the house (I won’t give too much away - you need to discover it for yourself), everything was simply perfect. The house itself has a rich history, and every window frames an incredible view - whether it’s the quaint bay of Cavtat or its charming red-roofed buildings. From each window, it truly feels like gazing into a painting, and it’s even more beautiful than the photos suggest (and that’s no exaggeration). From the terrace, you can watch the sun sink low, disappearing behind the start of the lungomare as the sky melts into shades of gold. Inside, the high ceilings give the space a grand and airy feeling. The apartment is very spacious, filled with light from the large windows. Our hosts were, without a doubt, the best we’ve had. They provided beach towels and cushions, surprised us with Croatian sweet delicacies, and, living right next door, were always attentive to anything we might need. We loved the short walks to hidden coves along the shaded lungomare - what a peaceful escape from the crowds of Dubrovnik - with the air scented by pine and fig trees! You can also enjoy the wonderful sunsets at the mausoleum and at the beach near Hotel Croatia. Cavtat itself is a hidden gem: peaceful, beautiful, and full of secrets. Everything a traquil walk away. This place offers so much more than the description or the pictures suggest, and we truly hope to return. This is the place to stay in Cavtat.

Nothing – everything was perfect!

The apartment was very clean and cozy, with everything we needed. It looks the same or even better than on photos. The location is perfect – just a few steps from the beautiful promenade, restaurants, and the peaceful town of Cavtat. Liliana and Harvey are incredibly kind and caring hosts who truly made us feel at home. They also showed us the building’s fascinating history, which made the stay even more special. Harvey said- trust me you will love Cavtat, this is the best place! And he didn’t lie ☺️We planned to stay 2 nights and stayed 4 – we loved it that much! 100% recommend!

It is not entirely clear from the description on the booking.com website, if you hire the one bedroom apartment, that you access the terrace through the owners apartment. Absent using the terrace, the apartment does not have a lot of natural light. Air conditioning in the bedroom would be good.

The hosts are exceptionally kind and helpful. From providing useful information about Cavtat to baking cakes for our enjoyment to picking us up and dropping us off at the airport (for a small additional charge), there was nothing that was too much trouble. We had the one bedroom apartment and it was well equipped. The location was excellent and I cannot recommend Cavtat enough.

Our vacation was really perfect. Cavtat is a cosy, peaceful place with beautiful landscape. It's perfect place to escape from busy Dubrovnik. The apartment is very big and well equipped with a very central location and close to everything. The hosts are very welcome, treat us with many delicious food and provide free transfer from/to the airport even at night. This is an amazing place to stay with very welcoming hosts so do not hesitate to book it.

None such thing, all was great.

The apartment was very clean and spacious. The location was the best in the city with a wonderful view from the terrace! The main promenade is a few dozen meters away. The owners were very hospitable and kind. They told us about the town, treated us with various local delicacies, figs, cake, gave us wine, etc. There were two separate rooms with two bathrooms and two kitchenettes. The main, very large living room with access to the terrace. Each room was air-conditioned. Peace and quiet. The apartment looks actually even better live than on the photos.

Palace Pernarius is a real gem nestled in the heart of Cavtat. Harvey and Lily are the most gracious and attentive of hosts and could not have been kinder. Lily baked us both apple cake and apricot cake which we enjoyed with a cold glass of wine on the terrace which overlooks the harbour! The beds are incredibly comfortable and the cool spacious living area offered wonderful respite from the hot august sunshine. We could not have asked for more. Harvey and Lily, you are marvellous! Thank you for a very special week.

This place really lived up to its name it was an amazing place to stay. it was of the highest standard I have ever seen and so close to everything with a spectacular views from the terrace. And the hosts Lily and Harvey treat you like royalty they are so lovely and caring on how your stay is going will definitely be back. It made the holiday.

Stunning spacious apartment in converted 16th century villa with lots of period features. Dream location in Cavtat steps away from the sea, shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed sipping sundowners on the balcony and taking in the beautiful view. Lily and Harvey were fantastic hosts providing everything you could possibly need - even beach towels. Lily also made us a delicious fruit cake which was a lovely touch. We all had a great time and would love to go back.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Lily/Harvey could not have done anything more to make us so welcome. They are exceptional hosts. Cavtat is a lovely place so relaxing after busy nearby Dubrovnik it has some very good restaurants and lovely walks.. The apartments are right in the centre for shops restaurants or catching the ferry to Dubrovnik or day trips to other islands..We could not praise Palace Pernarius and Cavtat more.
