Easy booking, the owner provided all the necessary details for a seamless check-in. Also they allowed us to keep our luggage in a safe place until we left in the evening. Great, central location and good sized room.

The stairs are no joke, and I didn’t pack light. But that’s on me, they fully warn you ahead of time.

The location was wonderful. We stayed for 3 nights and it was great to be right in the middle of everything. The hotel was super clean. I also appreciated the coffee set up right outside of my door. I needed it.

Taxi driver drops you off 100mt away. Would like a dotted map of each and every turn to find it. We missed the last courtyard where the stairs were.

What an absolute treat and thrill to stay within the walls of the old Diocletian palace! We loved our room. Ivana was very helpful throughout the booking/check-in/check-out process with prompt and clear communication and the room itself was as lovely as we had hoped for. It was great being so close to the main square and being able to visit the palace early in the morning before the crowds descended. It was such a comfortable, cosy room to return to with a lovely bed where we slept beautifully and a great shower. There’s also a tea and coffee station set up outside the room in a common area which was much appreciated. We loved our stay, thought Split was wonderful and definitely hope to go back and stay longer next time. 5 stars from us!

This was a really nice place to spend a night. Very well furnished and equipped and an extremely friendly, helpful host. Well located in the Old Town.

A/C took some fiddling with to figure out, but once we did, the room cooled right off and stayed cool through the night. Room is a little small for 2 people and 2 big suitcases, but bathroom was nice size. Given the location you do get some noise (church bells starting at 7am and ringing every 15min, pigeon cooing) but that didn’t bother us since we were only there one night and getting an early start in the morning. Also the benefit of being up early is great people less photos of the palace!

Great location (right up the stairs from the Fig restaurant and off the main palace plaza) and lovely host. Host coordinated a taxi for us to the airport which was so seamless and easy! Water pressure in the shower was fantastic

I loved the thorough, attentive communication from Ivana as I was traveling solo for my first time to Split and she was kind & responsive assisting me with getting to the hotel with a taxi service . Additionally the detailed instructions upon arrival were perfect! Thank you Ivana!

Beautiful spot in the middle of the Palace in Split. Close to everything.

Room and location were excellent. If you have a car, you will need to park at least 5 minutes away. This is true of any place in the palace area. The only draw back were the church bells. They rang over 90 times at 600, 630 and 700.

I didn't realise the hotel was above a restaurant (not indicated on the photos). So a bit noisy from that and also noisy from being close to the action. But I had some early plugs and that blocked out the noise.

Beautiful room in a stunning location. The staff were so friendly and I was able to leave my luggage there until needed.

Very centrally located and such a cool historic building! Check in was very easy and host was very nice and helpful. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was bigger than expected for a building this old.
