We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

communication from the host was good with details of location and how to enter the property. I e mailed asking if I could access earlier as my flight was early morning . She said that was possible as long as the cleaner had finished. Arrived about 12.30 and the apartment was ready to go. good location on the edge of the old town. United KingdomI wouldn't have felt safe walking to this accommodation at night if I'd been travelling solo, as there was graffiti on a nearby house and it was very dark and down an alleyway. I would have like to have known in advance that the entrance hallway (within the door with the code on it) was going to be used by the owner while we were in the room (we hadn't locked the bedroom door, as we didn't know we had any need to!).
The room looks just like the photos. Very clean and very comfortable bed.

United KingdomGetting any sort of English TV - not that we're avid TV watchers but at the end of a long day exploring Split, would have been good just to relax for an hour or so before sleep. Tried pairing up various accounts ( Netflix, etc) to unsuccessfully. Followed the instructions from Vedrana - again, no joy. Not a deal breaker but a nice to have!
The room was exactly as it shows in the photographs- spacious, well equipped ( it even had a clothes steamer! ) and beautifully decorated.
