How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There was a lot of noise during the night from the street between midnight and around 2:00 a.m. Only street parking was available. I knew about it beforehand so it is not a complaint. I could not reserve a spot. The option of parking in the inner building yard could maybe be investigated.
The room and the bathroom were very nice. Looks quite new.

The room was in excellent condition. The location was perfect—just a 10-minute walk to the city center, far enough to escape the hustle yet still easily accessible. Simon was incredibly kind and friendly. The coffee machine in the corridor was surprisingly good—shockingly delicious, in fact. Overall, 12/10. I would highly recommend staying here!

A microwave would be a plus for the apartment because it is impossible to cook.
Well-located apartment 1km from the old town. Clean and quiet. Free parking in front. Well-equipped. Beautiful decor. Simon's warm welcome. Many shops nearby.

Nothing, already booked to stay again!
Simon the host was so friendly and helpful and was only a message away if we needed anything or if we needed any recommendations, the bed was very comfortable, room extremely clean and coffee/tea facilities were impeccable. Considering the room was right next to a bar you couldn’t hear a thing & was a short walk away from the old town, restaurants & bars. Also very easy to get to via public transport from the airport

Hard to say what we didn’t like however, it would have been nice to have Netflix or a smart TV to cast your phone to. Also, another lock on the door from the inside for extra security.
Spacious with lots of storage. Exactly as the pictures show, great location, great value for money. The shower had good pressure, everything worked as it should, for example air con, radiator in the bathroom. Really nicely decorated, two nice big mirrors for getting ready. Bed was very comfortable, firm mattress and nice pillows. Kettle was clean with no limescale, the list goes on. The cleaning lady was so sweet and Simon (the property manager) was super helpful, quick to respond to queries and generally very nice.

Not that we didn't like it, but if we could suggest anything to improve, it would be an overlay mattress to properly merge the two twin beds into a double bed. Ah, and when it's time to upgrade the TV, a smart TV where guests can connect to their streaming platforms is a great plus these days.
Gorgeous interior, classic but modern, smells nice and fresh. Amazing cleaning service, the cleaning lady is a jewel. There's a coffee machine in the hallway which is a great addition. The host was impeccable with communication too. Great place to stay!

Everything was perfect.
Loved the space and design of Nephelae Boutique rooms, very clean and spaces. Had a great time staying here, and the location is based a few mins walks from central.
