Staying at this accommodation was more than just a vacation—it was a true lesson in hospitality and the warmth of human connection. From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel like we were part of their family. Their attention to every detail and genuine desire to fill our days with joy and relaxation were evident in everything they did. The food they prepared for us was a culinary experience in itself. Every meal was carefully crafted with love and a special focus on traditional recipes. You could feel the effort and passion the hosts put into offering us authentic, homemade flavors, and each meal was a true feast for our senses. What sets this accommodation apart is the hosts' dedication to ensuring that every guest leaves happier than when they arrived. Their kindness, smiles, and willingness to go above and beyond made our stay unforgettable. More than perfect stay. Great architecture and lush garden. Beautiful and comfortable rooms with exceptional view. Natural pool is gorgeous and so well mentained that water is diamond clear. Everything in this B&B is spotlesly clean and designed with great attention to details. And the owners make you feel at home. Breakfasts are fresh, deliciously made with loveand great care. Each day different tablescape, each day new menu... Breakfast is almost brunch and all the guest gathering in common table is so welcoming. We could write so much more beautiful things... A really long list... Yes, and don't forget to ask the hosts for advice on best restaurants, things to see and visit!

Monte Piccolo is a slice of heaven in the Istrian countryside. Rob and Lisette have created a piece of paradise, that is further elevated by their generous hosting, and their expertise in healthy food, eating and wine that they share with their guests. The leisurely communal breakfasts (benefitting from Lisette's expertise as a nutritionist and featuring home-grown produce and bread cooked daily by Rob) were a stand out feature of our stay, and really allowed their dedication to wellbeing to shine through. We thoroughly enjoyed the social aspect of getting to know Rob & Lisette and the other guests from across Europe. This was always balanced with the ability to have private/alone time whenever needed. The standard of the accommodation is 5* and immaculately clean. Its position on the hill overlooking the nearby village (with great Konobas to eat out in) and looking out to sea (25 minutes drive away) was stunning, and it benefitted from a constant gentle breeze. Just one of the (many) stand-out features for me was the living swimming pool. It would have been easy to spend a week sitting by the pool and swimming, watching the dragonflies and the swifts at their daily morning and dusk drinking sessions, and just relax and soak it all in. The rooms are very large, the attention to detail and care self-evident: from the fabulous rainforest showers, to the choice of pillows, to the cool bedlinen and the in-room tea/coffee/fridge. Rob & Lisette are very dedicated hosts, with a genuine desire to ensure you have the best stay possible. Don't hesitate to book and visit, if you get the chance- you won't be disappointed!

What a special place😍! Monte Piccolo is surrounded by stunning nature. As soon as you arrive you feel how calm, relaxing and beautiful the spot is. The hosts have a very good sense for great, timeless architecture and are always there to help with great tips for discovering the area. Breakfast is really delicious with homemade and regional delicacies. Thanks Lisette and Rob for everything, we hope to visit you again! Karin & Daniel
