How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Hand towels in the bathroom are not enough for cover on return from the shower, a few big towels would have been great. Luckily we had a beach towel of our own so nobody was scandalized :) I emphasize that there are plenty of towels for drying out, so this is a minor thing and easily fixed.
Google Maps help with walking to the accomodation from the ferry port, after that it is easy to get to the beach and shopping is nearby. Room is clean, bed is comfortable and pillows are excellent. Air conditioning works well and is quite strong. Plenty of hangers in the closet. There is no TV (I think this is in room description) but in any case we didn't need it. Internet is better than average for Croatian tourist accomodation. Anti-mosquito protection works well. Bathroom is nearby (few meters from the room), there is a hair blower there for people that need it. Large fridge is in the corridor, we had no problems with it, guests generally all picked a shelf for themselves and there were no problems. Dining area has some plates and cutlery.

We had no problems.
Everything was fine. There was a problem with the water, but itt was quickly fixed. The balcony gives a beaudiful view on the sea. The beaches are very close.

The place was on great location, you have parking lot. The rooms were with air conditioners and the place had a nice terrace with ceiling fan. The host was very pleasant and always there to help. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Recommending for everyone. ✅

the place felt a little impersonal but otherwise nothing to complain

There was no breakfast. The Room was a room in a building, shared with other people. I dont know if that was written somewhere. Bedroom and shower are private. Room is very big, has AC and bed is huge. There is a small table outside the room and there will be other people there. I didnt mind. Location was lovely, couldnt be more authentic

Google maps takes you a long walking route. Message the staff and ask for the best walking route. It's actually a very easy route.
Great location up a hill from the main restaurants and sea. Very clean. A little dated but comfortable and quiet.

It was further to walk than I had anticipated from the ferry terminal and not particularly easy to find. Perhaps other suggestions could be made by the owners to make the arrival simpler.
I enjoyed my stay at the property and thought it was excellent value. I chose the basic room with an external bathroom but this was absolutely fine. Also access to a shared terrace room with kettle and fridge.

Good location very close to popular beach area. Not far from ferry terminal, 20 minute walk approximately. Beautiful garden, look out for fruit and flowers, tortoises too. Clean room, comfortable bed, good shower, Wi-Fi good. Neighbourhood is quiet, walk down the hill for beach and restaurants, walk up the hill and to the right for a big supermarket. Communal terrace area for eating own good and drink, fridge available for storage. Helpful host.

It is a little bit hard to find the place, but the staff went out to find us
The staff was super nice to us, the location is convenient and they have all necessary implements to have a comfortable stay (fridge, washing machine, clean bathrooms and air conditioner)
