The apartment was a nice place, perfectly located for enjoying the Old City of Zagreb. The owner very kindly met us and showed us in even though it was very late at night. The apartment is well-sized with almost everything we needed. The apartment is quiet even though in the city.

The floors creaked and the bathroom door squeaked so if you got up in the night, you could wake up your partner. The upper walkway was old wooden boards and didn’t feel totally safe as it had soft spots that had some give in them.

Location! Location! Your are across the street from everything that you want to see and do. The accommodation is a bit on the rough side but it’s clean, quiet, the bed is comfortable and the price is reasonable.

Quiet room, comfortable bed, hot showers, kitchenette was even equipped with a microwave. Convenient minutes-to Old Town location, as well as many other sights. From bus station, a quick taxi or short walk (depending on your pace, +/- 25 minutes). Quick responses from jovial owner, who handed over the keys and gave a brief apartment overview. There is one flight of stairs to reach the apartment. As written elsewhere, the room "faces an interior courtyard so it has light but you do not hear" those who are wandering the tourist street, which is virtually pedestrian-only. For one or two people, I found this place to be just right. I would return.

Strange smell coming from next door and the walkway to the apartment felt a little unsafe. No hair dryer.

Great location friendly host who explains everything upon arrival. The apartment is great for few nights but I wouldn't recommend it for longer as it's a little small. For the price it's definitely good value and it was perfect for us for a short stay.

I texted the owner to tell him that we arrived at 2 pm . He didn't answer. I send him an other message. Nothing. We arrived and he was not there, I called him and he said to wait 10 minutes, when he arrived he tell us to go around the city and come back after 40 minutes to clean the flat. When we arrived the flat was not very clean and there was a big spider walking next to the bed. I have no words.

The apartment needed a deep clean especially the floors. The linens all need upgrading. The owner insisted we phone on arrival- we did not have a phone and had to find someone to lend us theirs.

The accommodation is a a little dark and small. It does not feel very secure although we have had no problems at all. The furnishing is a little dated and basic.

Tha location was perfect. Although central, it was very quiet. All basic facilities were included. The property has l lot of character.

The host went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. He met us at the property to hand over the keys and show us around the room. He also gave us a great recommendation for dinner and pointed us in the direction of tourist information.

WiFi was a little weak at times.

Central location. Good restaurants, cafes, bars and shopping just outside the apartment complex-wide chioce. Access to bus + main tram line just 2 mins away. Safe area. Near city's main square. Good value. Not fancy, but clean + provided everything we needed. Only a short flight of stairs to the apartment.

Room seemed not safe at all. The door are locked, but are easy to break in. Also, the door are opened on the opposite side, so you can’t put anything on the door to prevent opening. Windows are kinda see-through... I don’t know, my main concern during the stay was if someone is going to break in because it seemed so easy...

Location is amazing! Literally AT the main square! Host was very friendly and answered phone regularly.

the apartment quite old that makes it affordable, only the hallway of the apartment is a little bit dark.

Unfortunately the apartment is somewhat run down and needs a really good clean-up! Electrical extensions all over the place and untidy.

Location! Very close to the main square, the vibe and hundreds of small restaurants. Most tourist sites are within easy walking distance.

Everything was great!

We truly recommend this nice place. We booked it very last minute, under somewhat "desperate circumstances” and the man who met us and gave us the keys etc was very nice and really helpful. We got a very good “last minute price”, and he also let us keep the room until late in the afternoon on the day we were leaving Zagreb. Thank you so much for that! The room is very nice, in a really charming backyard directly in the centre/old town. You could not find a better location and we highly recommend Marinac Apartment ! I also take the opportunity to recommend the very nice Caffe Bar Krolo (with it’s very nice staff!) on the street just outside the apartment 😊
