Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Mak Luxury rooms was the perfect combination of a hotel and apartment stay. The rooms were large and the bathroom was also very well thought out with space for toiletries and hanging towels. The communal kitchen was great to be able to cut up some fruit or prepare some sandwiches to take with us for the day of sightseeing. And the communal balcony/deck area was great for eating or relaxing. A short walk into town to see all the sights but also far enough out to have peace and quiet.

Parking is pretty tricky and Sat nav struggled with getting us to the address. Follow your nose not the Sat nav. The apartments are accessed via pedestrian walkway which is charming but via extremely busy road (traffic at standstill most of the time). Better instructions on best local parking would be handy.
Lovely large bedrooms well designed with comfy beds and good aircon and black out shutters and hidden outdoor spaces located just on the outskirts of the main harbour - 10 minute walk to main gate into Split Old Town.

The property has a huge shared balcony area.
It’s an apparent with individual rooms with bathrooms and shared kocher. All looks new and clean. Great location. Self service check in. Good WiFi connection.

Parking is about 5-10 min., not possible to park infront.
Super location, comfortable beds, perfect kitchen and Mislav was very helpfull. Nice balcony with seating. Perfect in every detail.

No elevator and the stairs up to the apartments were always full of cigarette smoke. But once you enter the apartments hallway the smell is thankfully cut off
Once inside the property it was beautifully decorated and very clean.

There's a frosted glass wall between the bathroom and bedroom so if anyone uses the toilet in the night, the bedroom gets lit up.
Lovely room with access to a shared kitchen. Bathroom was large with a rainforest shower.

Communication by Whatsapp. Make sure you have your vouchers for breakfast.
Great location, nice room, great shower, nice small outside area. We had a few problems with the door, my fault, fixed by staff via WhatsApp.

In the city center. Nice apartments with shared kitchen. Mislav was very co-operative. Helped us find a good parking spot. There is a small cafe opposite to the apartment for good breakfast. We were there during easter holidays so most of the shops were closed. One of our friend’s son wanted some fruits and the lady at the cafe is so kind that she allowed us to pick up some fruits. Really appreciate her kindness.

The fact that you had to share the kitchen with the other residents.
The room was lovely and very clean with a big bathroom. Host was very helpful and gave us a list of the best restaurants. The place was very central, only a few minutes away from the bus station and the Riva. We had an amazing time in Split.

Fantastic place. Surpassed all expectations. It is in a great location, looks like new, well equipped (never seen such well equipped kitchen, dining terrace and terrace for relaxation). Very comfortable and super clean. Smooth check in and check out.

Since it was warm, we kept our windows open, but some people were smoking under the windows and the smell came into the room. Also, would have liked more tea options (we couldn´t find tea in the kitchen).
The location was great, the Split old town is very near. The room was beautiful and well decorated. The bathroom was light and comfortable. Also the shared kitchen and terrace were very good to hang around. We enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely perfect! All of us accomodated on one floor. Huge luxurious apartment in the most gorgeous little cobblestone street. Really quiet. Quick walk into main Split. Absolutely loved it!
