How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Very basic, TV didn't seem to work and was only in Croatian language. Had to climb steps to get into the room, and with heavy luggage it was not convenient.

It could be more clean. Bathroom smelled little bit.
Good location. Good for one night sleepover when you travelling by boat to other islands. shuttle bus from airport stops in front of the accomodation! Near by is supermarket.

Ideal when traveling by bus as it's just oposit to the bus terminal. To the city center, there is a direct bus connection, not a long trip. The accomondation is very simple, but OK for one night.

You check in with the restaurant below the apartment and an employee brings you up to the room. The workers are lovely except for one who is extremely rude. If you don’t get to meet her you’ll have a lovely time. The traffic from the road can be kinda noisy but if you’re tired enough if you won’t even notice it. Not much to do in the town.
Very nice apartment for short stay. We stayed here to get the early morning ferry. An ideal place to stay if you want to do the same. You get a discount for food in the place below

It would be nice to have a cup, spoon and fork. The hair dryer-like device was broken. On the first day, there was a 30-minute power outage.
The staff was friendly. There was a shuttle from the airport to the hotel, and the hotel was close to the bus stop. There is also a large supermarket nearby, making it convenient for purchasing food.

It's a great location to the bus stop but I did think it was a little expensive. I guess Dubrovnik is expensive.
I had a lovely stay here. The staff at Bistro 49 were so helpful and one of them even carried my case up the steps. They were lovely. I did feel a little unsafe with the main door being open though. The room was spotless and perfect air conditioning too.

The shower was very dirty, there was hair stuck in the drain and we had to pick it up as the water wouldn’t drain, there were hair all over the shower floor . This is the only downside and could definitely be improved!
The location was the best part, close to the bus station and the bus stop is right outside, the restaurant is right below. And the grocery store is a minute away. The air conditioning was also really nice and the apartment had a Tv! The staff were nice as well

Due to its good position window is near a busy street.
Perfect for a short stay mainly for practical reasons. Downstairs is a bar and you have also the possibility to have a good warm meal, nearby is the bus station and a local market is also not far away (I dont mean supermarket!). Staff was very friendly and it was clean.

Not proper Linens on the bed, no pillows with pillow cases , only decorative ( which people don’t wash after every guests) , fitted sheet was very old . I didn’t feel like it was clean bed.

Very basic, bare minimum facilities.
Perfect location right by the bus station. Friendly and welcoming staff. Good food in restaurant downstairs. Had good, working air-con.

nothing not to like for this price and with such location
I'm staying here every time I go to Dubrovnik, it's just 50 meters away from the Bus Station. Can't have a better location if you're travelling by bus. It's simple, but has everything needed, it's clean and well priced.

It was quite noisy with hearing other guests arrive and leave through the night.
Great location. Bus stop right out the front and only 5 mins on the bus to old town. Right across the road from the main bus station. Staff were lovely. And the resteraunt downstairs was great!

It would have been nice to have a refrigerator in the room. Also, window didn’t offer any view to outside. Internet didn’t work, but I’m not sure if Wi-Fi was available. The price-quality ratio wasn't quite right, but it’s a suitable accommodation for a one-night stay before a flight.
Close to the bus station. Room was clean, and the furniture was modern. Air conditioning worked very well, it was new. There was just enough space for two.

Wifi didn’t work properly and we struggled to stay connected to it. The shower was bad as it flooded after only a couple of minutes, meaning we had to keep turning the water off to stop it from overflowing into the bathroom.
In the perfect location if you need to use the bus station. Staff were friendly and approachable. Room was modern and bed was comfy. Can get discount at the restaurant downstairs which is really nice and had lovely food and drinks. Old Town is a short bus ride away and was no hassle getting there and back.
