How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The fridge did not keep my drinks cool at all.
Clean room. Very modern and clean bathroom. AC worked well. Fantastic breakfast! Friendly and helpful staff. Good bed and pillows, lots of extra Blankets if I needed them. Lots of electrical outlets. Close proximity to airport which is great on the last day of my trip.

We're really happy with our stay in the hotel. The hotel has private parking. The rooms were way more than what we were expecting. We had one room with two beds - but it was way more spacious than some expensive hotels. We actually had two rooms in an apartment with two huge terraces(balconies). Nice and clean. Very comfortable beds. The restaurant was closed, but they helped us order some food and they allowed us to have our dinner in the restaurant. We were more than happy! We had a nice little stay as we were only for one night but the experience can't be explained in a couple of sentences. The staff was really nice, friendly and super helpful. We had to check out early so we didn't have time for breakfast, but I guess it would've been nice too🙂 We already recommended the hotel to our friends and they're looking to book it. Many thanks for everything!!!

I liked everything.
Very well maintained hotel just outside Zagreb. The rooms were spot clean and stylish. Nice and quiet garden. Excellent breakfast with options to satisfy any taste. Staff is friendly and helpful!

We stayed at this hotel in Zagreb, conveniently located right by the highway entrance, which made our arrival very easy. The property was spotlessly clean, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Even though we arrived late, well after reception hours, the hosts kindly arranged a smooth check-in for us, which was a wonderful surprise and truly appreciated. The rooms were beautifully maintained—spacious, cozy, and impeccably clean. The beds were especially comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep after a long journey. The entire place was quiet and peaceful, making it ideal for rest and recovery after hours on the road. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. What stood out most was the attention to detail and the genuine hospitality. It’s rare to find a place that combines convenience, comfort, and such a personal touch. Highly recommended for anyone passing through or staying in Zagreb!

The door of the shower was making a noise and there were not enough shelves in the bathroom to place your cosmetic.
Breakfast was amazing, it was very spacious with a nice terrace outside. The beds were very comfortable, the room was clean and the view from the balcony was nice. There were also a lot of parking spaces.

Everything was fine here. Big and clean room with very good bed and a standard bathroom that was completely sufficient for two-nights stay along the trip. I especially enjoyed the balcony on the south side of the 2nd floor! The breakfast is above average and really very good, with a large selection of fresh and high-quality products and would be exactly the reason for me to stay here again on future trips. Friendly staff, secure parking at the courtyard of the house and WiFi worked very well. The location is good for travelers who want to quickly get back to the VERY nearby highway.

A fully operating kitchen would be nice to have lunch or dinner.
Modern and tastefully designed hotel at the outskirts of Zagreb. Ideal if you are travelling via the highway. Good variety of food at the continental breakfast.

Incredibly beautiful, modern, and clean hotel. And if that wasn’t good enough, the staff are AMAZING. The receptionist upon arrival was super kind, warm, and polite jokes. Reception experiences always make or break a guest’s experience at a hotel, and this lady was perfect.
