The property was super closer to town! Steps away from the supermarket and the walk way around the water. The host was nice and let us check in slightly early, she met us and let us keep our bags there while we walked around. The bathroom was super clean and big. The property was a great location, could not be any better. We could walk to the beach and to get food.

Very clean and modern! It is super prime, with supermarket just below and Stari Grad shops just 30M away. Parking was easily accessible as well. Staff was accommodating and friendly!

If you're looking for a hotel near the historic center or Hvar's main tourist attractions, this hotel isn't for you. First of all, it's located in Stari Grad, a 30-35-minute drive from Hvar's port. The rooms are very nice and modern. The staff is very friendly and helpful; Anita, thank you so much for everything. The hotel is very well located: close to the port, the center of Stari Grad, a supermarket, restaurants, etc. The only negative point (in addition to its very distant location from Hvar's port) is that my room wasn't made up for two days.

We loved everything about our stay at the Madrugada Old City! The location was perfect, the views were absolutely stunning, the staff were incredibly friendly, the accommodation was clean and modern! It exceeded our expectations and we would definitely book to stay here again if we visited Stari Grad

These are modern apartments above a grocery store. There is not anyone onsite 24 hours, but we were greeted on arrival. The location is exceptional: just one block from the "restaurant" side of the harbour, and 10 minute walk to a beach that feautured a bouncy structure, chair rentals and restaurants. There is another beach on the otherside of harbour accesible by walking approx 20 mins. There is a taxi stand near by. The room was large and clean. The bed and linens were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The room had a large deck, overlooking the harbour with a hot tub. Given the heat in Croatia, I didn't think we'd use it but it was cool enough at night to enjoy. The host gave us access to a washing machine which was appreciated. Stari Grad was a highlight of our trip to Croatia. Would come back.

It’s hard to find any negatives. One thing to know: the reception desk is not staffed 24 hours, but the WhatsApp number is posted on the door and Anita is immediately responsive. She also arranged inexpensive parking and free use of the washer and dryer. She is fantastic and went out of her way to be helpful.

Modern furnishings, spacious apartment with a picturesque view of the harbor. Located above a supermarket and on a plaza with a bank, fresh fruit stand, and bakery. Situated a 5-10 minute walk from Tvrdalj Castle, restaurants, and shopping.

The beds / mattresses were too soft for my liking. They should probably change them to something harder as the soft mattress is not comfortable for people with back problems.

Excellent and modern rooms. Close to the bus-stop and right opposite the sea side. Very convenient as it is on top of a supermarket and you therefore buy small stuff without having to walk miles! Anita was a very good host! She even offered to drop us to the Stari Grad port for our onward journey to Split. Thank you!

The hotel is located above a supermarket with outdoor stairs - no elevator which made it difficult with the baby stroller and the luggage. The beds were too soft for us. Our room was close to the storage entrance of the supermarket and the staff woke us up way too early by making loud noises.

It was clean and spacious. Comfortable baby mattress in the cot. Anita was very helpful.

The bed was the only problem. I said about it uncomfortability because it is too soft. However, it was a wonderful experience!

All was perfect, excelent, except the bed. I weight 95 kg and I didn't be comfortable because it was too soft. For the rest, seriously, perfect. I will recommend this place to all my friends.
