Such a great wonderful short stay, the host was very helpful and attentive, room comfortable and clean. A previous review mentioned noise due to the bar/restaurant below, we didn’t find this an issue when window was closed properly, air con works great. Not a compliant but just one suggestion to add some small plates and cutlery to the room ☺️

Super cute room! It was all very clean and beautiful. Comfortable bathroom. You can really see how Diana and her husband take care of every detail. Lovely place and nice breakfast! The location is also amazing, in a cute little street with bars around. Very romantic!

Communication was a bit of an issue. I tried to find out in advance if I could get a cab to drop me close to the door, and I kept getting Passed around by email and told to contact someone else and yet they were just some basic questions. as it turned out the taxi driver dropped me off a fairways away at the bottom of some stairs, which I had to navigate with a now broken luggage wheel. Now that was the taxi driver’s fault because he could’ve just told me it was like a five minute walk and actually I would’ve appreciated if the owner had told me it was a five minute walk instead of recommending a cab. When I left, I ended up just walking to the bus station. There were some basic supplies that would’ve made it a little bit nicer for example cutlery, some plates, maybe a bottle of water in the fridge after arriving in 40° weather. I find that most places offer some sort of welcome treat when you arrive. breakfast was included, but it didn’t start till 8 AM which meant that I missed three out of four breakfasts because of Tours that I had to go on that were just a little bit earlier. When I arrived, it turned out to be a fisherman‘s days, which was kind of cool, but it’s always nice to get some advance notice about anything special that’s happening in town before you get there and some recommendations about the area. Listing said that there was a dryer which there wasn’t but which made me assume that there would be a washer too so that was my mistake. And I was looking forward to being able to do my laundry while I was there and not by hand. Wifi was iffy and the coffee maker I wasn’t able to get to work even though the next place I stayed at had exactly the same model and it worked just fine. If you’re looking for a quiet place to stay this might not be it there is a restaurant is right below and it’s popular and active till about midnight.

The apartment had a good location in old town and was nicely decorated although I certainly wouldn’t have called it a luxury suite. In My 10 stops throughout Croatia it was the most expensive place I stayed. There weren’t too many stairs, which I appreciated. I also appreciated the daily checks to tidy up my room and drop off, clean towels. That was really nice. The housekeeper was very helpful and helped me with my suitcase when I had to leave, and Milan helped me when I arrived to carry them up to the suite.

Everything. Clean, cosy, kindness, good location, good price.

This place is stunning. The location is top (literally 1.5 minutes from the sea, and not in hillclimb mode😃) in front of the door there are several restaurants and bars. (The bar on the opposite side is so cute and they are so kind). The accomodation is clear and cozy. Diana, our host is one of the kindest person i have ever met. Always in contact, always smiley. We had an issue so we had to stay one more night, and she happily helped us, and let us stay in a good price. I totally recommend this accomodation. Every important sight is in minutes by walk, and i am out of words. Thank you Diana!

Diana was an exceptional host who welcomed us to her b&b with incredible openness and care. The Palace is brilliantly located in the heart of the beautiful Makarska, with several stunning cafes and restaurants on our doorstep. The room was emaculate, and Diana was always on hand to help with all our needs. Could not have asked for a better experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

The room was very clean, beautifully decorated, neat, and cozy – everything matched the description, and it even exceeded our expectations. Every morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast – fresh, varied, and truly tasty. The staff were especially kind and helpful. The lady who welcomed us was extremely polite, friendly, and always smiling. Thanks to her, we felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. The whole stay had a lovely atmosphere, and Makarska is such a beautiful place that we will definitely return someday. We highly recommend it! 💙

Everything was just perfect.

Luxury rooms Palace quite deserves its name. Diana was warm and welcoming, as was Maritsa, the owner who served up the included breakfast with a smile. The room's location is jaw-droppingly perfect - you walk 5 steps out of your private basement right onto one of the coolest pedestrian streets, with not just one but two cafes right next to you. There are a dozen great restaurants within a 100 foot walk. You are also just a 5 minute walk to the parking lot, and a 10 minute walk to the main city beach. The room was much larger than I expected, very modern furnished with every amenity you could want, and super clean. The bed was a large queen, and very comfortable.

Comfortable room with a large, beautifully made bed. Clean bathroom with a hair dryer and basic toiletries provided. Excellent location, with a charming wine bar just downstairs nearby. Breakfast is served in the building next door. The owner is very kind and helpful — we felt truly well taken care of.

Just 2 things. It would have been better to have some hand soap. And, if you are supplying coffee pods, make sure there is enough for 2 people. There was only one coffee pod.

A nice place, but bad communication about check-in. It was difficult to find via GPS, and no instructions were sent prior to check-in. There was no lobby or desk to check in. You have to park in public parking and carry your luggage down alleyway stairs and walking streets to the facility. We were on the top floor without an elevator. The room was quiet, but the bathroom had a glass door not provide privacy. There was a great restaurant across the street, and we were provided with a wonderful breakfast. The town was beautiful, it was one of our favorite places in Croatia.

Convenient and great location. Everywhere is walkable from the accommodation. Beautiful room - biggest bathroom of all our accommodations so far. Amazing host and all the staff. Diana couldn’t do enough for us. Warm, welcoming hospitality. Such a lovely experience 🥰

Due to central location it is noisy so at night couldn't sleep due to people in next door courtyard and people walking past very drunk and loud through the night. Air con didn't work properly.
