Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SerbiaNice and cozy place to stay. Especially for a couple. The building is dreamy. The room was small but pretty. The street’s quite and all you hear are the birds chippering in the morning.

NetherlandsThere is only 1 set of keys for your room and you'll need 3 different keys (1 to open the front door of the building, 1 to open the hallway and 1 to open your room), this is inconvenient when someone stays in, but wants to leave afterwards, cause you can't lock your room and the hallway door. Underneath the bed was a lot of dust, this probably wasn't cleaned in a long time. (Only found out cause I accidently kicked my slippers under the bed) The (double) doors to the balcony are not that easy to go through, I've hit my hip multiple times badly on the doorhandles. (But the double doors will help to isolate during cold days, I guess) The last night/morning was not that nice, at 7am I heard multiple people walking/running on the floor above and at 8am the neighboured hallway started construction work. While I had only 4.5 hours sleep and I had a 3 hours drive ahead. Mladen told us he was sorry and that the neighbour told him they would start construction at 10am, I think he should have at least informed us in advance. The last night/morning was a real disappointment, but it was nothing Mladen could change afterwards. Probably the last night/morning affects the feeling of the stay.
Mladen is very kind, we even saw him one time outside the building waiting for a new couple to arrive at 10/11pm to check in, what a service ! The location of the room is really good, you'll only have to walk 5 minutes towards the old city center. The shower is big, with a (rain)shower and a normal (hand)shower. You'll get a small and a big towel for each person. The bed is large and comfortable, the air-conditioning works good (when you skip the timer during the night), there is a very cold mini fridge and there is a small balcony. A large tv for the room, too bad it could not be turned and there was a good wifi connection. Mladen didn't make any trouble of checking out 2 hours later than described on booking.com (12 am).

United KingdomI advise anyone looking at this accommodation NOT to book it. I had booked this property for 3 nights with a friend, we are two young females and we’re travelling around Croatia. The host messaged me with details of how to get into the room prior to check in as a self check in service, so we got there put our bags down and went to leave to head to the beach. The room next door had their door open ajar and as I went to leave my room a middle aged man approached from the room next door and tried to enter into our room. Obviously, this was petrifying, so I stepped back and tried to shut our door on him however he pushed through and walked into the room. He began talking about our air con and kettle and Wi-Fi which made us finally guess maybe he is the host, however he did not introduce himself. Understandably we were completely shocked and shaken at this point and he was walking further and further into our room and lingering as we stood at the door scared to go near him. We tried to leave several times however he kept talking about pointless things in the room keeping us there. Finally we left for the beach and then I started to notice there was little reviews here, an hour or two later we came back to the room and felt extremely uncomfortable about going back. As soon as we tried to enter our room his door was open again and once again he emerged and barged back into the room and started making a coffee in our coffee machine. I told him to stop as we did not want coffee. He left the room after a couple more minutes. We were both so shaken and frightened, as he left we realised we were unable to lock our door from the inside. There is a code to open from the outside which obviously he knew but we could not lock anyone out from the inside of the room as there is nothing in place to do that (no locks at all inside).
