How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

I would book a room with balcony next time probably
It was so close to everything, clean, well stocked with everything you may need, we were shocked. Fantastic value for money, and amazing responsive staff. 10/10 would stay again. The aircon was very good too.

It was not easy to figure it out where is located because is a little hidden.
It was very comfortable everything was clean the location was perfect near to everything. And the instruction was so easy and the staff was very nice to let us check in before, and the room is very fully equipped with first aid kit, Beach towels, a hair dryer, shampoo and conditioner.

It was perfect, the room is nicely decorated and clean, great location in a quiet street just outside of the most busy/touristy area. There is no physical reception, but every necessary information was clearly communicated before arrival. :) Ernesta also checked if I needed anything during the stay so perfect communication overall, thank you so much ! :)

We were there for a few nights, so changing bedlinen and towels would be good. Apartment with a balcony, but we weren't told it was in the back of the building with a view to the neighbor.
Location was very good. Good size room and bathroom. Air conditioner in the room, but not strong enough, so it took a while to cool the room down every time we were back.

The room is "dark" at night / in the evening, but it wasn't disturbing.
The property has really good location, which was really nice! Room was clean and bed was comfortable. AC worked well. The balcony was really nice for having breakfast, the view was not the prettiest but you can live with that😄

We’d like that room is a bit bigger, and have some taller table but this is no deal breaker. It’s just subjective opinion. Also we felt that in case that all apartments are booked it would be a bit noisy but again no deal breaker.
Location, parking just across the property (though no guarantee that you’ll find a lot, need to wait), close to Old Town but away from crowd and noise. Also terrace is lovely, good to start a day with a relaxed cup of coffee. Owners very helpful and kind.

Location was great! Close to a strip of restaurants and shopping. Bed was comfortable and amenities were good. The deck was a bonus and a nice place for morning coffee!

You can't leave the a/c on when you leave the room so it got VERY hot and wasn't pleasant when we returned. We did travel in July.

The property is very clean and the room smell pretty good! There are iron and iron table for whom curios about the facilities. The hairdryer is also available. The location is also very good. Just walk down the street is already the heart of Split. Old town is like 5-10 min away. We very satisfied! Bed is also super comfortable :)

Nothing really, only had a little trouble locating accommodation after being dropped off by our taxi, but that was because we couldn't see the building number straight away.
Location walking distance into city centre was perfect. Quiet area not too busy with bars etc. Loved the decor to the room, which was spacious, large tv, small fridge, kettle and coffee maker. Bathroom huge walk in shower again loads of space with a small shallow step up from bedroom area. Air cooling which we were so grateful for as we did find during the day very hot outside so very welcoming when we came back to the room. Very clean and tidy. Would stay here again. Good communication from the owner giving us clear instruction on how to self check in via WhatsApp.

Maybe the room is not really big, but is enough.
The apartment has great location, parking free near the apartment (5min walking) and is nice decorated.

The apartment is great, with a modern style and equipped with everything that is necessary. The centre of Split is within a few minutes by foot. We really loved this place and we will for sure look for it again next time we visit Split.
