How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

A bit noisy because of the restaurant downstairs but nothing that couldn’t be solved with ear plugs. There was a hammering noice at 6:30am on Monday morning.
The location was perfect! 1 min and you are in old town. It was on a quiet street. The room was quite big.

We'd have liked a few more tea bags etc.
Its a gorgeous building, thoughtfully refurbished so that the essence of its age isn't lost or the need for modernity compromised. With a small number of rooms it felt intimate but not exclusive because of the excellent restaurant on the ground floor which kept it alive. Our room was spacious and the beds comfortable. It kep cool with out AC, (tho we did use it) due the thickness of the old walls which was a real bonus. As a solo female traveller I'd have felt totally safe here with friendly familar staff all week.

Staff was alright but nothing special really for a 4* hotel. Only one access key card for the room and no extra locking system inside the room for extra privacy or at least a do not disturb card to make the staff aware that you don't want to be disturbed
Location was great, in the heart of old city, rooms were daily refreshed

Can’t think of anything really. We all really enjoyed our stay.
Great location away from the busier marina bars and restaurants but still very central. We had dinner there one night and the food really was superb. A wide variety of fresh fish and also meat dishes.

Occasional noise from the restaurant but that is to be expected ! Didn't dampen our stay at all.
Amazing location and easy to find. Super close to everything since it is in the old town. 5 minute walk from bus stop and port! Very friendly staff. Room was immaculate and great facilities. Bed was very comfortable. Would stay again!

Didn’t really like having to put used toilet paper into a bin instead of down the toilet as would cause blockages . The bin only changed every other day at the point of our stay….
Super location and very good friendly staff. Restaurant menu very good.

There were building work just autside the window but that wasn't Leonis fault.
Could not be better located. Exellent staff and we had breakfast that was just as we wanted. Every day we planned to have dinner there but came late back after dinner "down town". Next time.

Having a little fridge in the room would be really great
I loved staying here. The stuff are really lovely. It is quiet and tucked away from the hustle, but very central, close to everything: the seafront, green market, bus station, Old town… Highly recommend the restaurant, it is exceptionally high quality, both super fresh seafood and all other dishes. The stuff will read your mind and advise the best choices of food and wine, suiting your taste.

Location was beyond great, like I was and to go and come back so easily and change clothes!! It was right in old part of the city. Room was ok but a bit cold and it was boring, other than that everything was perfect. The staff was a bit not friendly and talking so rarely. But overall I was so happy to choose this place.

I would appreciate a locker for the door, something to make sure the door is closed from the inside. Something extra than the magnetic card which allows to open the door from the outside. Also a bin in the room would be nice, like a desk bin, so we don't have to put everything in the bathroom bin.
Really nice room, super spacious for the price. Lots of naturals light. Perfect location, it would be too loud if the hotel was more in the center. Amazing restaurant.

The holder to the shower head was broken. It could be easily fixed/replaced. The rooms are not well isolated for sound, so you’ll hear the noise from the restaurant quite well. The room was a bit damp, I did not see any ventilation apart from in the bathroom.
Excellent location! Flexible staff when it came to luggage storage, etc.
