We asked for our two rooms to be close together but this was not given. When selecting our rooms at booking time the only twin rooms were small and the double rooms were medium so we booked one of each (as our older kids wanted a twin). We were not told the small rooms are in a different block, nor the bed arrangements are the same in all, ie single beds pushed together or apart. On arrival it was too late to upgrade our kid's room due to capacity but would have had we been given the choice in advance (as we could simply have pulled their beds apart). Also note, for those unaccustomed, there is a lot of smoking.

Breakfasts, the pool, the location were all very good. Great for gluten allergens. Our daughter who is coeliac was able to ask for most things to be made gluten free and had no problems through the week. This can be done on each order through the phone app. The town of Starigrad is a nice walk which we did every evening. Lovely architecture and ice cream. The sea is beautiful.

The music performances become a bit repetitive if you stay more nights. Our room could have been cleaned a bit better.

The pool area is beautiful and the credit system works great. 25€ was enough for dinner and cocktails. It is near the beach and Stari grad is also close. The food was mostly great, especially the pizzas. There was lots of choice for breakfast. You can send all of your requests regarding the room through the app. All in all, I think it is great value for money.

Staff was ok but quite rigid. I asked for a double bed weeks in advance, told it was going to happen and wasn't given one. I asked for flowers to be placed in the room as it was my partner's birthday and didn't even receive a response. Anything that is above and beyond is not going to happen.

The a la carte menu for lunch and dinner is quite limited, but it just encouraged us to try superb local restaurants.

My sister and I had the most wonderful stay at this hotel. It really did exceed expectations. The layout of the facilities is outstanding, from the pool area to the beach (no sand). The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. I never ever bother with breakfast, but soon changed that habit when I saw what was on offer, including a juicer to make your own fresh juice! Wonderful selection. Water aerobics in the pool was a great workout and fun. The beach bar has a great vibe (music a little too loud for me). The bedding in the room was the best I have ever experienced. The whole place was absolutely spotless! A wonderful short walk by the water into Starigrad, or a water taxi for a couple of euros. Highly recommend this hotel!

Sun loungers by beach should be included in cost of stay.

Lovely hotel, great setting, nice layout with different levels for loungers making it feel less crowded. Pools lovely. Room size S was quite small especially bathroom. Air con a little noisy but ok. Food great as flexi half board worked really well.

Despite signs on sunbeds saying there was no reserving of beds when we got up at 9am there were no sunbeds available - most were reserved with towels and when I complained to the staff they said they’d tried but people did it anyway. I feel like if someone just walked around removing towels from beds when people were clearly not using them it would be quite simple to control.

Good location, lovely pool and lots of areas to sunbathe and relax. Breakfast was great with lots of choice. Liked the wrist band system and flexibility to spend on drinks or food.

They seemed to have removed some benefits such as soups and water during the day which were completely free just the day before we arrived. They did mention that at the reception that we would have soups, but actually we didn't. There are no grocery shops nearby.

This is an excellent hotel that we enjoyed every day of our stay. It really was above our expectations. It is located at the end of the town, 10-15 minutes on foot. The are is very quiet and enjoyable for sleep (aside a club on the other side across the water, but it worked only a couple of days and the music didn't bother us much). We took M room size which was enough, but we could use a bigger bathroom. Everything in the room seems renovated. The breakfast was amazing, one of the best I ever experienced. The food was of top-notch quality, really everything was super tasty. You can come as many times as you want between 7am and 11am and most people do it. The rest of the food offered was good, but nothing special. There isn't much choice, although they did introduce or remove some meal over the day. The beach and pool facilities were also excellent. The sunbeds were free around the pool and in the natural shade under big trees. We enjoyed this very very much. If you want to lay at the beach, it costs 20 euros per day for two sunbeds and an umbrella. There is place to rent SUP, kayak, bikes... A taxi boat stops just nearby and you can take it to reach the town center. Whatever you do, you will for sure enjoy the pine forest! Big parking just next to the hotel with plenty of space.

Super place to stay, very stylish, staff could not do enough for us. Food was amazing, great drinks, brilliant place. We really enjoyed it here. Funky bean bag sun loungers available, sun lounger beds, normal sun loungers. This hotel was next to the sea and a short walk from the town, which was lovely.

The food options were limited. The lunch and dinner menu was the same and fairly boring. For the cost of the hotel, there should be a complimentry taxi to and from the ferry. We paid £30 for a 10 minute taxi ride. Staff should be more knowledgeable regarding travel services on the island. There was limited options to link streaming services to the television in the room.

Perfect location! Stari Grad is a wonderful area when travelling with family and children.

Staff were surly and inattentive. Often it felt as though we were an inconvenience when checking out/ordering drinks at the bar. This was surprising as staff in all the shops and restaurants we have visited in Croatia have always been so helpful and cheerful. The attitude of the staff lets this hotel down as otherwise it would be amazing.

Lovely rooms and pool area. Great choice for breakfast. Relaxed atmosphere. 15-minute walk to Stari Grad. Half board option (€25 per person per day) could be spent on food and drinks at any time of the day. I would recommend using your allowance for snacks and drinks and having dinner in the town as there are lovely restaurants there.

The menu was the same every day. There were a few specials on each day but the choice was limited after being there for 7 nights. Therefore we chose to walk into town in the evenings for more choice of food and ate lunch at the hotel instead.

A great hotel in a fantastic location. We were very happy that we could choose to eat lunch instead of dinner if we wanted to as part of our package. This is a great idea.

The cleanliness of the room left something to be desired (bloody and hairy bedding, a moldy and limescale-covered bathroom). The ice machine didn’t work during the entire 8-day stay. The shower cabin was leaking at the wall, leaving a puddle in the bathroom after each use. The hallway light near our room wasn’t working. At night, there was constant noise — clattering, trolleys rolling, and what sounded like ongoing service activity. Is there night-time cleaning? The foosball table was also close to our room, and people were often playing there past midnight. It was hard to get proper rest under these conditions.

I really liked the kindness and resourcefulness of the staff, the beautiful surroundings, and the great location.
