Very modern, comfortable and central boutique hotel on Vela Luka. Great location, coffee machine in the room, lovely views over the harbour and breakfast was excellent. Super friendly, uber helpful staff.

no parking space from the hotel and it was very hard to find a spot in the high season. also the only thing that bothered us a tiny bit was the smell from the drain in the toilet - we had to buy some air freshener.

Everything truly exceeded expectations – except for one issue on the day of departure. We needed a taxi and were initially offered a hotel transfer for €60. That didn’t work out, and we were told not to trust local ride services, as they were supposedly unreliable. Instead, we were advised to take a regular public taxi for €80, including a 5 min. stop at a winery – this was a special birthday request from someone in our group to buy some bottles of wine we had tried the day before. In the end, the stop was included, but the total price turned out to be €100 instead of €80. We were told the hotel would look into the matter and get back to us, but unfortunately I never received a response. This left a bitter aftertaste to an otherwise wonderful stay. The taxi price felt like a rip-off.

Everything was great: the cleanliness, the modern and stylish decor, and the spacious rooms. Breakfast was very good – although the selection was a bit limited, everything was delicious. The transfer from the port to the hotel was extremely helpful, and the staff supported us warmly in many ways: recommending wineries, giving advice for activities, offering to drive us to the bus station on our departure day, storing our luggage etc.

We could not find fault with anything.

We enjoyed all of our stay. Luka was a generous host. He picked us up from the ferry and was very knowledgeable and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was fresh, clean, and stylish with all the facilities you would expect with a boutique hotel. The bed was comfortable, and the views were superb. We slept soundly with no noise. Breakfast next door was yummy. We would have liked to stay longer but had other commitments booked.

We loved it here. A nice, spacious room with all the facilities we needed. Plenty of nice restaurants within minutes walking and the view of the harbour in the morning was a treat, we could have stood in the window for a long time! Check in staff were great and recommended a lovely beach for us to visit. We didn’t want to leave!

The views over the bay were beautiful, because it is located right on the water. Large very comfortable room and bathroom with modern decor and an amazing sofa that turns into a large extra bed. We loved this more quiet location, mingling with the charming locals. Fresh seafood was a plus right on the water.

Beautiful hotel. Bed super comfy. Plenty of room. Shower excellent. Restaurants down stairs had live music. It filters up to your room, hence the ear plugs they supply. But I was not bothered it was relaxing and sent me to sleep

Do Bar downstairs & next door served great breakfast. Little did we know that our waiter was a very talented musician… his band played a set in the intimate 35 seater outdoors restaurant/ bar. They were fantastic and for me , made our 2 night stay at Vela Luka memorable.

Quite a lot of noise from the bar below the room and from the school next door but it didn’t bother us a great deal .

The room is spacious and beautifully designed. Beds are very comfortable and linen is nice quality. Lots of space for storage and putting luggage. Parking was free street parking and we usually found one close by. Tea and coffee pods provided. Great restaurants close by and several supermarkets also nearby. Location was great

The only thing we wished would have been better was that we were not aware the ferry port had moved and it just would have been nice for them to think to mention that to us when they knew how we were arriving via ferry. It also would have been nice of them to think of telling us about the local events occurring in the area the couple days we stayed. Other than wishing these things would have been thought of, our stay was perfect.

The view, facilities and breakfast were all perfect. They also stored our luggage for us which was so kind. They made a recommendation for a wonderful taxi company when we needed one as well. Their AC was excellent as well, which was so appreciated. We had a wonderful time.

Leaving the hotel !!!!!

The location was excellent, if I had to pick an ideal location upon arrival in Vela Luka, this is the place i would have picked !! The fittings and fixtures were high quality and the overall presentation of the room was exceptionally high. The staff at the hotel were exceptionally good, always on hand to help wherever possible and nothing was too much trouble.
