How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Beach was 2 min walk. Bus station, bakery, shopping centre and restaurants all super close. Hosts were very kind, helpful and welcoming.

Everything was perfect.
Very kind and helpful host. Really like the way he treated us. Showed us the area on the maps, answered all questions, treated us with some biscuits, home-made lemoande and home-made cake (all was delicious). The apartment was extremely clean. Really nice bathroom and terrace/balcony. It was close to many restaurants, supermarket and beach (just 5 min of walk to each location). We really recommend ;)

Excellent location, close to both local beaches and shops. Fully equipped apartment with two bathrooms/toilets and air conditioners in every room, which is vital for big families. Quiet domestic atmosphere and very friendly host with family members, always ready to help.

everything was lovely, nothing negative.
The apartment was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Everything worked well. The hosts were really wonderful, very helpful and on site if we had any queries. One bedroom and the lounge looked out over a lovely garden and could only hear the birds. The beach with bars and promenade is walking distance as was the shopping mall, restaurants and supermarket. ( no steps ) There's a ferry to Dubrovnik old town or Cavtat or the bus stop is just out side the property. We loved it, thank you for making our trip a most enjoyable experience.

We loved our stay in the 2 bedroom apartment. It was spotlessly clean and everything worked well. Great shower, 3 air conditioners, an efficient dishwasher , easy parking and warm and friendly hosts. Excellent location and overall 10/10. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay.

Excellent apartment, spacious, extremely clean and comfortable. The owners are also really nice. The beach with bars and promenade is at walking distance. Very easy to get to the old town, by boat, car or bus. We loved it!

The hosts are amazing and the property is wonderful- house is clean with everything needed and garden is so beautiful. The apartment is in very convenient place - near beach, restaurants and big supermarket. It is easy to get to Dubrovnik by boat, car, taxi or bus.

Very nice, clean and peaceful. Near beach, shopping center and many places to eat or to get a coffe or ice. We stayed in the studio apartment with gardenview, a nice place with all we needed and a very nice bed. New towels every day. Close to the old city, by boat 30 min/10€ or by taxi 15 min 25€. Close from the airport 30 min/40€. The host is very friendly and always ready to answer our questions.

All was good
Breakfast was not included but the owners wife brought us from fresh baked cake for us to have. The location was perfect and we were able to take a ferry to Dubrovnik Great host

My family stayed in this property for a full week and Nikša and his wife were amazing hosts! They were friendly, helpful, understanding, and very accommodating of the family's flight schedule. They brought the family freshly baked cakes, cleaned the garbage, and changed towels during the stay. They are very responsive and accessible if guests need something. Their property is very beautiful and peaceful and a great vacation place. It's a few minutes from the mall, restaurants, bars, and the Srebreno beach. Their beautiful garden is a place to relax and the view from the balcony is breathtaking.

We liked our stay very much. There is a big garden, where you can also leave the car. The owner was very helpful, with excellent English and knowledge of surroundings. The apartment was well maintained and furnished. Good wi-fi connection. Air conditioning in almost every room. Shopping, bakery and beach in walking distance.
