Hotel, in general, could use a refurbishment. Food was ok, but overall it is average quality. Lack of labeling or explanation of the dishes could be problematic for people with dietary restrictions.

Calm and peaceful atmosphere, sea is cystal clear, beautiful nature for relaxing walks surrounded by animals. Hotel room was clean and decent.

The bathroom floor could have been cleaner. Also, it seems that smoking is still allowed on the terrace during breakfast hours - it would be great if it was banned at least in one part.

We had a wonderful time in Brijuni, as we always do. The island never fails to impress us with its natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere. We truly appreciate the warm hospitality—the hotel staff were exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our stay. The room was very comfortable, well equipped, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Rooms were in 3rd floor, with park view and through all night there was anyoing sound of generator or something like that. So ask for the room in the end of the building. The breakfast is very poor with free from food - not good for celiac (they only have gluten free bread) neither for diary free diet (no vegan cheese, only cow cheese...).

Kitchen AC unit is turning off and on, non-stop for 24 hours, making loud noise right infront our room. That was baaad. Unit is obviously old and have no noise inuslation of any kind and just a placrment near the rooms is a disaster.

The hotel is located in a national park, and the island's natural beauty is breathtaking. The perfect way to explore is by bike. The hotel itself is somewhat plain, but perfectly clean. There was a long line for the self-service dinner and breakfast, which was a bit frustrating. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The place and the facilities are historical, is part of the experience, but of course the lights have no use as they take way to much time to glow (?) and there was no air-conditioning but a fan which occupied a lot of the space in room.

It was an amazing experience in the middle of nature and historical places! The hotel was no less: perfectly clean and preserved, it felt like walking back in time! The birds nest on the balcony with the Seaview was the cherry on top, since they were peacefully flying above us, we were able to observe them from really close! Also the breakfast and dinner buffet was the best ever experienced!

We booked hotel Istra but end up in hotel Neptun. Maybe for the first time ever I didn’t read any reviews, so just when we arrived have realized that Istra in on the right side and Neptun on the left and it’s one facility. Anyway, it was too hot, and we get room on the corner of building so we ask to change room. Then receptionist explain that Neptun is recently renovated and on our request she found room for us. It was such beautiful superior double room with sea view, very spacious, cozy, and we really enjoy it. Didn’t pass so much time inside except for sleep but still. Food in the restaurant was really delicious, luckily, because there are only two restaurants on the island. No shop except souvenirs shop so if you are to cycle or walk to explore island, bear in mind to bring enough big bottles for water, at least 2, after you can refill it with pipe water or you can use boat to buy what you need in Fazana. 1 return ticket daily is included in hotel price. Staff, not only in hotel but everywhere on island is super kind, helpful, and very professional.

Food is always poor and nothing has been done about it for years. For a short stay it is ok, you can always choose something to survive, but I cannot imagine staying for more than 3 days on that.
