Review of Villa Bakica We recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Bakica, and it was a delightful experience. Here are the key highlights: Welcoming Hosts**: The hosts were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. Clean and Spacious Apartments**: Our apartment was spacious and impeccably clean, equipped with modern amenities for a comfortable stay. Beautiful Outdoor Area with Pool**: The well-maintained pool area was perfect for relaxation after exploring the area. Pet-Friendly**: As a dog owner, We appreciated that Villa Bakica is pet-friendly, allowing us to bring our furry friend without extra charges. Overall Comfort**: We felt very comfortable throughout our stay, and the peaceful atmosphere was ideal for unwinding. The location was also convenient, just a short walk from the charming old town of Trogir. In summary, Villa Bakica exceeded our expectations, and we look forward to returning in the future. We didn’t have a problem with this as we knew where the property was located but it is good to note that the property is under the flight path of the incoming flights into Split (quite spectacular to watch at night!). And if you want to use the BBQ facilities do check with the owner first as they had family visiting and we weren’t able to use it - again not a problem but just worth knowing.

The property is in a great location for the marinas at Trogir. We stayed for one night at the end of a sailing week. The owners were kind enough to let us leave our luggage as we arrived early. We were two families of 4 and had a top floor one bedroom apartment and a superior one bedroom apartment. Both well equipped (even a dishwasher) and comfortable. The superior apartment had a lovely terrace which was great for all of us to hang out for drinks and for breakfast. The views are fab. The pool is brilliant - it even has a little jacuzzi feature. The property is literally a few minutes walk to Trogir old town. If you arrive by taxi get them to drop you at the main road end of the property as it’s much easier to access that way.

The location was fantastic, the hosts were very helpful and the property was excellent. I would thoroughly recommend it for anybody wishing to visit Trogir, or joining a boat in the Marina. Having a pool was a real bonus.

The fact that there are ants in the kitchen. We left some bread/pizza slices on the table and in the morning there were a lot of ants on them.

Some appliances needed to be cleaned. Only sheets were there to cover on bed. It was a bit cold with air conditioning on, but hot when we turned it off.

Nice owner living at the property. Easy parking once you get into the gate. Our apartment was right in front of the parking area, so it was easy to carry our stuff. Beautiful pool, easy walking to the city center.

The bathroom was disappointing, with poor water pressure that made even washing hands a lengthy task, not to mention taking a shower. The room lock was an old-fashioned, partially broken door handle with a key. Updating this system would enhance the feeling of security. The lady who welcomed us was sweet and attentive, but her male counterpart was grumpy. When our toddler had a crying episode, his reaction was shameful. Additionally, when I drove up the hill to unload our luggage during check-in, he came after 5 minutes and curtly said, "Parking not here, okay?" as if he didn't see I was busy unloading our family’s belongings.

This villa is lovely, located near the old town, making it easy to walk to the city, even with a toddler. It has a private parking lot shaded by trees and a private entrance. The pool is a highlight, perfect for cooling down with your kids on a hot day, offering a peaceful and private retreat. The room was spacious enough for us to store all our luggage comfortably.

It was wonderful!

The Pool was beautiful and refreshing. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hostess was very nice. Easy location to access waterfront restaurants and cross to the old town. Parking was free and secure.

We had an apartment on the ground floor which was perfect for us. Everything was perfect. If I was to pick a fault it would be no TV reception ( which would have been handy for our 1 rainy evening) Slavia was amazing she is a bonus. The family who owned the property are fantastic, super friendly I cannot recommend this highly enough. A short walk to the old town which is fabulous. This has everything you need for a perfect holiday. A word of warning in Croatia mosquitoes out in force. Take some heavy duty repellent

Finding the property could be made easier with some instructions (not clear should go through green gates into car park). Room fixtures slightly dated (but fully functional).

Comfortable room with aircon and a warm welcome. Nice pool area and good views over Trogir. Good value accommodation. Fridge and kettle in room.

Lovely clean, spacious, and comfortable apartment with all the appliances we would want. Great location, a short walk to the historic centre (which is fantastic). Benefits from a good-sized pool that was beautifully clean and refreshing. All in all, the quality, cleanliness, location and facilities helped make an extremely enjoyable holiday. I would definitely recommend it.

This isn't a dislike just info for the less mobile A bit of a climb to the apartment we didn't mind because of the view other apartments available lower down the path

Nothing, everything was perfect!

Apartment is nice, it has well equipped kitchen, beds are comfortable.. beautiful terrace with shade and swing,and big table for morning breakfast! We used pool, clean water (you can use it untile 23:00). View from our window was perfect! Every morning we loved church bells from Trogir. Also you can hear and see airplanes because airport is really close. Hosts are kind and nice. Hopefully we will come back soon !
