Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Turkey1. There was no bottled water in the room..no kettle , tea, coffee or any other complimentary stuff... 2. Room furniture was old and wall color was purple...(such colors are not for everybody) 3. After 10.00 pm main door is locked , you need to go to back of the hotel to enter the building.

We came downstairs at 6 to find the entire hotel locked - any guests could not get in or out t. We tried opening doors to no avail and my wife finally found an unlocked door in the dark dining room- we barely made the first of 3 flights that day but the hotel was a disaster

United StatesThis was my first time going to Croatia. We were excited to reach the coast, a place we had been looking forward to. We needed a place to stay for the night, so I looked at different options on a booking website. I found a hotel that talked a lot about its Wellness center. They had pictures of a fancy spa and other things that seemed nice, so we decided to book a room there. I wanted my wife to relax while I did some work on the computer. But when we got to the hotel and paid for our room, we found out something surprising from the person at the front desk. The Wellness center was actually closed. They told us it was mentioned when we booked, but we looked again, and it simply was a lie. They were advertising a Wellness center and it simply was not open at all. We were too tired to argue or change our plans. Feeling let down by this dishonest "bait-and-switch" situation, I started to feel unhappy with BOOKING. They shouldn't allow hotels to trick people like this. We still tried to make the best of our stay by exploring around the hotel, hoping to find a nice restaurant or a fun place to hang out. Unfortunately, we didn't find anything interesting nearby. The only suggestion we got was to go to a restaurant that was a long drive away. This left us stuck in a not-so-exciting place. To make things worse, the hotel's parking lot was noisy in the evening because some of the restaurant staff was hanging out there. They were loud and didn't care about the guests trying to rest. This went on until almost midnight, spoiling our quiet evening. And then, at 6 in the morning, a nearby church rang its bells really loudly, so we had to use earplugs to sleep. All in all, this was one of the most disappointing experiences I've had when booking a place to stay. I can't recommend choosing this hotel. It was a mix of false promises, a not-so-great area, and noisy disruptions that made our stay less enjoyable than we had hoped.
Honestly, it's hard to say good things about our time here. The breakfast was okay, but the food was a bit too salty. However, the beds were really comfy and nice to rest on.
