The building is fine. The inside needs some love: The area that has paint needs to be repainted. The tiles need to be washed down. Every tenant is different hence cleanliness is next to Godliness. The floor wasn't that clean. The door needs to be cleaned, it appears it has mold which isn't healthy. The fridge and the metal for clothes also needs to be cleaned and you can repaint it. To remove the rust stains. As I said the place is in a perfect location. The inside of the building just needs some attention. A little fresh flowers or lavender scent will carry the place better.

The location is perfect. I enjoy the little quietness after a long day of discovery and needed time to unwind and relax. I love the area because it gave me that.

Unfortunately there are no photos of the rooms, because if there were I would not have booked. It is a small room with 4 beds close together. There is no place to put things (1 backpack): either under the bed or at the foot of the bed. The kitchen was scary. I was afraid to touch anything.

The common kitchen looks gross, all other common areas don't look welcoming as well. All the furniture is old and shabby. Rooms would benefit from some renovation. The mini-fridge in the room didn't work. Someone was banging on my door during the night for several days of my stay.

The location is perfect - just 5 minutes from the Old Town. The neighbourhood is pleasant and safe as well. Darko, the host, was extremely kind and helpful. Check-in happens through a WhatsApp call with the host. The WiFi works just fine. The A/C in the room also works well. Considering the prices in Dubrovnik, you get what you pay for.

Facilities very basic but you get what you pay for. Dorm beds did not have any screening around them so you were starting at your neighbour all night. Room a bit stuffy - small windows.

The kitchen was not really clean and lacked amenities. We could not use it as we felt not hygienic. Would recommend to choose this if staying for one or two night and eating outside is preferred.

The owner was very friendly and helpful , advised on how to get round old town and to the airport, the apartment was clean but very basic,could do with tlc ,location was very good .

My first impression was not great since the host tried to move me to another B&B last minute and this other one had terrible reviews. Once this was solved and I got my room as I planned, everything went smoothly. It is a very simple B&B. The place, furniture and bedding are quite old. The cleanning is done by the host himself, so it's not so frequent.

The location is exceptional. I also managed to get a private room in the upper floor that was very private and quiet. The price is very good for the location but perhaps too expensive for what is offered.

Beds were not the most comfortable and overall the space could benefit from some renovation. However, this is a hostel so if you are not demanding traveler I think you could definitely enjoy your stay here. The location is absolutely perfect.

Amazing location , rooms are for only 4 people and the bathroom is spacious and clean. Would definitely recommend if you are traveling on budget. Host was absolutely amazing, always available for any inquiries.

The cleaning and unreliable WiFi

For the change of location, the staff did not notify me until the day I was already driving to Dubrovnik. Each room was supposed to have a TV in addition to air conditioning and bathroom, but there was no TV in the room. Guests were supposed to have a shared kitchen to use, but there was none. There was only a refrigerator in the hallway. As promised, I received clean sheets and one towel. The bathroom was clean and I was satisfied with the basic cleanliness of the room. There was some rubbish under the bed. Not much, but there was some crumpled and scraped paper. I haven’t seen a WiFi password anywhere. At least not in a visible place.

I actually booked accommodation at a different address (Branitelja Dubrovnika 24), but the staff told me I would be at a different location (Ilije Sarake 4), when I was already driving to Dubrovnik. I liked the new location more, because I was right in the middle of the old town of Dubrovnik. All attractions, restaurants and shops were close by. There were safes in the hallway where personal belongings could be locked.

The price was quite high I felt compared to other hostels in Europe cities I have visited.

Poor hob - took too long to heat anything.. Not enough space for big bags! Would have been nicer to be checked in by a person!

Not the cleanest, but the location makes up for it. It has everything you need as long as you don't plan to spend too much time in the hostel itself or rely on activities in the hostel.

Great location, walking distance from Old Town. The rooms are ok, you get what you pay for.

The room was stuffy. The filter of air-conditioner seems not clean for the air quality so the room smells unpleasant at first. It is a bit noisy with window opened as the building sits directly along a high traffic road. Kitchen is very small so it wouldn't be a nice idea to cook there.

Walkable distance to the old town. Many bus routes that goes between bus terminal and the bus stop is right in front of the hostel entrance. The host allowed luggage storage and gave us suggestion for transportation.

The shared kitchen was not looked after or cleaned, toilet paper could be stacked up more often.

Right place if you want to meet travelers and be in short reach of the old town. I liked the fact that the our dorm had single beds (no shaky bunk beds) and a little Kitchenette. Also the outside seating is great.

Messy.. noisy., you are dependent on other guest and their behavior.. there was a French guy from Brittany who left the toilet every day in a mess.. and the mast night I almost got into a fight with a guy named Mohamed from Berlin who used the bathroom for lengthy prayer prep and was not interested in closing the light because he had things to do at 3.30in the night.. he made the toilet smell like a fish market and went on talking loud middle of the night just outside the room.. innthree days have seen the efforts of trying to keep it clean with towels and sheets when people leave but have not seen any personnel at all.. the shower was handheld functional but broken off the wall.. so.. I was glad I was leaving.. pfft

Room 5 is in the direction of the main road and is noisy at traffic times. My room didn't have a lock either, and the wardrobe couldn't be locked. The cleanliness on the terrace was very bad, also the rubbish. The furniture in the room and the beds are from the Yugoslavian era.

No contact with owner and difficult check-in - we had to enter the property with another guest. Very dirty and messy.
