We stayed in a double room with a private bathroom and a balcony — cozy, clean, and pleasant. The little balcony totally stole our hearts. An air conditioner in the room - its absolute magic! The hostel is near the train and bus stations. Check-in starts at 5:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM. The host is the soul of the place — kind, attentive, and clearly puts a lot of effort into making guests feel welcome. That really shows. For security, the entrance to the hostel is locked and accessible only with a key — a thoughtful detail that made us feel safe. We got lucky — it was quiet and peaceful during our stay, though that likely depends on your neighbors. Overall, this place really exceeded our expectations. For a hostel, it’s very impressive — clean, cozy, well-run.

The price could be cheaper but Croatia is generally expensive when it comes to accomodation.

Some minor issues with the room but it was ok according to the price. You hear every sound on the floor, especially if people are socializing in the common areas it can get real loud in the room.

The shower space was quite tight in the bathroom. The bathroom always smelt like urine, as if the toilet bowl was missed. There wasn't a lot of space to actually sit on the toilet seat properly as well. I'm 5'6. so I can imagine taller people (pretty much most men) would struggle. Be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs (second floor). The kitchen is the only common space available, not really much space to hang out.

The location was great! Very easy to find and a short walk to the bus terminal and a few minutes more to the main city center. The staff was very nice and provided café recommendations without even asking. There was plenty of space in the dorm, which was good considering there were no luggage storage or large lockers. Luckily, my roomies were very respectful. There were bathrooms in each dorm room which was great! The kitchen was clean too!

The location was good, just a short walk into the town. The owner was helpful and gave information on the local area. The bed was comfortable and the room was a fair price.

I didn't like the shower - the drain was clogged and the tub was filling up quickly. I wouldn't be able to wash my hair in those conditions. It was inconvenient to shower. Besides, I had a problem during check-in. One of the guests left the key in the lock, on the inside of the door and then I could not unlock the door and enter, and it was early in the morning, so I had to wake up other guests. I suggest posting some message for guests not to leave the key on the inside of the door.

I liked the location - nearby is bus for Opatija, and very close is main bus station. There are a lot of bakeries and coffee shops around.

Check-in... We need to work on our regular check in time. The website says 3pm, then once I've booked it, they said that check-in is at 5pm. So I was stuck outside just waiting for someone to open the door. Luckily another traveler opened it in for me. Once inside, there was no one taking care of the nor no place to sit down and wait and no luggage to leave your bag. So I just left it right behind the un-manned lobby desk. Note* The lobby is wayyyy smaller than the rooms. Lastly, the restroom! I'm short, about 5'5, but the toilet seat is right up against the wall. The restroom is so small. I feel bad for the taller men/women who have to turn 90 degrees just to prevent their knees from hitting the wall.

He is so great! The guy in charge! He really takes of his travelers! He is willing to spend time with you and talk you through the town! The room was very spacious as well! The price is perfect for it as well!

Location, only 5-7 minute walk from bus station and less from train. Close to old town centre and easy walking to some of the sights. Bed comfy, kitchen met needs but not big. Nice and clean and staff friendly. Do yourself a favour and come, beautiful buildings from older days and not spoiled yet by tourist buses, cruise ships and every second store selling souvenirs. 24-36 hours here is worth it.
