Breathtaking view, amazing food & great service!😍

A quick illustrative story. We arrived 4 hours before check-in. Previous guests checked out of our room right before our arrival. So the hotel manager asked the cleaning lady to switch from cleaning other rooms to preparing our room as soon as possible. While waiting, we spent time at a beautiful pool with a mind-blowing view. We were given fresh towels and a room to change clothes. We ordered drinks, and the waiter brought them to the pool. Our room was ready in a couple of hours, so we moved into it 2 hours earlier than planned. Long story short, this is the level of service you can expect during your whole stay at Liberan. People here care about each their guest. Special kudos go to the restaurant and its team. The food and service were always great. We and our dog (yes, they are very dog-friendly!) had a perfect time at this hotel. Liberan is a real gem and the place that makes you want to return to Croatia. Much recommended!

Everything on the Breakfast menu was absolutely delightful. Hotel always looking clean and tidy. Pool area also always kept to a high standard. The staff from the manager down are all extremely kind and generous with their time. We were gifted with a fruit basket on our 1st night. This was our 2nd visit and would again request to friends and family and would definitely come again in the future!

A small warning: the drive up to the hotel is not for beginners, as the road at times gets very steep, curvy and narrow. But it's so much fun!

Fantastic and picturesque hotel above the Makarska Riviera. Every bit as beautiful as in the pictures. Pretty and comfortable rooms, beautiful bathrooms (a rarity in Croatia!), a blissful pool with the most wonderful view, and a breakfast/restaurant terrace with exactly the same view. Nice and quiet too - all guests were there for the peaceful rest, and not to run around and shout. The staff, including the owner and the breakfast waiter, were all very welcoming and kind too, taking care of all our needs. Couldn't recommend more!

We had some minor defects in the equipment of our room (room door, safe, bathroom).

Our stay at Hotel Liberan from September 2nd to 7th, 2024, was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a family-like and caring atmosphere that felt more like visiting friends than staying at a hotel. This warm and welcoming vibe is all thanks to Sanja, the heart and soul of the hotel, who made our stay truly special. Not only did she handle all the facility work alone, but after getting to know her better she also impressed us with her academic background, vision and dedication of which the Hotel Management should be proud. Nestled away from the usual holiday hustle and bustle, Hotel Liberan offers a serene escape amid nature. The views are simply breathtaking, providing a perfect backdrop for relaxation and rejuvenation. The dinner prepared by the cook Goran was always a delightful culinary experience, showcasing local flavors and fresh ingredients. A word of advice for future guests: don’t be afraid to drive on tight mountain roads to reach this hidden gem. The journey is well worth it for the tranquility and beauty that await you. We will return to Hotel Liberan for sure when visiting Croatia again.

It's a new hotel and felt a bit to minimalistic. Som more plants and small trees in pots or something would bring some life to the place. There is no regular staf at the bar and no kitchen besides breakfast and dinner. Dinner is 50 euro p.p and limited to a choice of 3 mains; the starter and dessert are decided by the cook. The mentioned in the brochure the ingredients are all organic and biological so whe where expecting something special. We go for dinner frequently and is we where rather disappointed. The plates where really plane and to us, so was the taste of the food. Maby that's the whole idea, then it's just not for us..

The nice atmosphere; peaceful and quiet. Our room was a are very nice size and magnificent view of the sea. I liked the "zen" croatian music in the morning. Staf wil do anything to make your stay pleasantly.

The road to hotel is pretty bumpy. Mosquitos by the pool are a menace, some mosquito traps would make a huge difference.

We spent a wonderful week in that beautiful boutique hotel. We booked our accomodation with bad&breakfast, but already at our first meal we could realize that we will have an outstanding gastronomic experiences here, so we immediately ordered dinners too. The kitchen offered always fresh and locally sourced dishes prepared with great attention and professionalism. The temperature of the pool was perfect with a wonderful panoramic view to the see. The hospitality of the owner and the dedication of the staff is extraordinary. The hotel suits greatly for a getaway relaxing vacation with exceptional perfect gastronomy. The coffee is an extra high quality speciality coffe. Congratulation to Srdan (owner) and Krizan (chef) to the top quality hospitality! Surely we will come back soon!
