Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Lovely little place in perfect location in town, this was a last minute booking and the host was super quick and responsive. Bed was very comfortable and despite its location it was quiet to sleep at night would stay again!

Nothing everything was excellent
We got a lovely welcome. The location was perfect, right in the centre. There terrace was a nice touch too. The place was spotless and had lots of extras. Loved our stay here and couldn’t recommend more .

There was nothing we didn’t like.
The apartment had everything we needed and more, it was like a home away from home, it was spotlessly clean and in an ideal location. Anika was an incredible host, we would highly recommend it!!!!

We had the most amazing stay at Hektorovic House, we really didn't want to leave! Anika was extremely hospitable and made us feel so welcome, she was on hand for all of our questions and even left us some umbrellas when it rained. The location is so perfect for getting around, so close to all of the restaurants and bars but so quiet and peaceful. The terrace was the perfect addition for our morning coffees and chilling with a glass of wine after spending the day at the beach. Honestly can't recommend enough, have already shared with all of my friends!

Anika welcomed us at the room so warmly. She briefly gave us all of the information about Hvar and the room. The room was very hygienic and in a great location. Thank you for everything Anika. We were so pleased with all of your service.

Perfect location in tinny old town alley, surrounded by cool Coffeesnob, Ka’Lavanda Bar, nice terrace restaurants like Luna, Paradise Garden, Gaixa, Leporini, close to the town main square and taxi boat port. Nice spot to Church Tower and town hill. I had the quite backroom #3 at the top. The great guesthouse lady Anika is very helpful and gives you a warm welcome. She have a helpful locker space for lagguage for late departure, so I enjoyed the last day on beach club. The ac was cooling the room down. All good - I enjoyed the stay very much, thank you 😊

Anika is a great host during my stay in Hvar. Room is on top floor and very quiet and comfortable which is what I was looking for:)) Location is in center of Hvar which puts it in the middle for all the resturants etc... I used the bus system to see the other parts of the island and that was very close as well. Thank you Anika for my nice stay in Hvar :))

A few stairs , slightly difficult to get your luggage up if your not in shape but otherwise all good

We only wish the room we booked had a kitchen so we could cook some of our own meals.
Excellent location, easily accessible, great views. Very clean, and the host was very helpful and kind.

Nothing- it was perfect !
The property is was amazing. The host was friendly and helpful. The location was absolutely perfect and the apartment complex was very clean and easy to locate. The rooms was perfect for 2 people and we had a beautiful view with washing line to hang out clothes. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were great. We got fresh towels during our stay which www great. I would 100% stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at hektorovik house. Its in a great location in Hvar town and a short walk to the main square, harbour and passenger ferries. The outdoor terrace was a great place to relax. There are lots of places to eat nearby and the pakleni islands was a fun boat trip for a day on the beach. We would definitely stay longer next time!
