How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We rented the suite which was a two floor apartment. The stair to the bedroom had a nice design but for us it was impractical (had space for only one foot on each step). Also the roof was very narrow and close to the bed (the bedroom is a loft) so we did hit it a couple of times with head and shoulders (nothing serious...).
The room was in the old town of Trogir and it blended well with the scenery (old houses, narrow stone alleys etc). It was very nicely decorated, clean and well equipped. It had a very comfortable living room to relax in.

We loved everything about Apartment & Rooms Tiramola. The room was super, modern, clean, unique and comfortable. The location was amazing, right in the middle of old town. The staff and owners we so friendly and inviting. Will stay there again.

Everything was great.
Very pleasant, comfortable apartment, friendly owner, great communication, very easy to check in. Excellent location in the Old Town of Trogir. Air conditioning worked well. Very clean and well maintained.

Apartment is a bit dark, the steep stairs up to the loft bedroom are not for everyone.

We would 110% come back to stay at Tiramola. The apartment was clean and comfortable, no complaints! You can't honestly beat the location. The hosts were lovely, helpful, and informative; thanks again!

Maybe it was just personal stuff but the airport nearby and ringing of bells of nearby church since 05:30 was too much and too loud for me, even with closed windows. I couldn't sleep.
The location was great and the hosts are super friendly and nice, ready to help and to support.

Bit tight on space. Would be nice to have a sharp knife in room by the coffee mugs. We bought some fruit, but had nothing to cut it with.

Getting up and down the stairs into the attic bedroom was not so easy with a bad back

It's in the maze-iest part of the maze of Trogir (though less than 5 minutes from the north gate once you know where you're going), which might be annoying for an overnight crash pad, but is ideal for a multi-day home base. The decoration tastefully blends the antique structure with new amenities. The innkeeper provided us a detailed list of local recommendations, leading to a few of our best meals in Croatia. Our window was small, which I assume is typical of historic buildings, and closing the blinds blacked out the room. I appreciated this as a light sleeper, but my partner disliked this while hanging out in the morning.

Nothing. It was exactly as we imagined and more.
Everything. A modern, clean, comfortable oasis within the city walls. Very immersive, just as we wanted. Anton was there to welcome us. And there was a lovely restaurant directly below, which we enjoyed a couple of times.

The location of this apartment is amazing, set within the cobbled streets of Trogir old town. Great communication with hosts and lots of recommendations. Wish we could have stayed longer, such a quirky little old town with so many lovely restaurants and bars

Room amenities (no free water bottles, major Toiletries are missing)
The host (Maria and her Husband) are really friendly and helpful. Answer and guide you swiftly. The room was clean and spacious and location is just inside the old town.
