We arrived late due to a delayed flight, and the host’s father kindly waited to welcome us in person- such a lovely gesture. He let us know that no restaurants or shops were still open and even provided us with something to eat so we wouldn’t have to worry about food. It was such a thoughtful touch and truly wonderful hospitality. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Could not fault a thing.

Eugen is by far the best proprietor I have ever dealt with from years of travelling. Eugen sent me on advice in relation to attractions and also messaged me each day to check how we were getting on. Other than this it’s the best location i have ever stayed and I’ve been to Croatia several times. In terms of food and sight seeing the furtherest we had to walk was 400m. This included meeting point for most of the main get your guide tours. Could not rate higher and if I could I would. Thanks Eugen.

The location was perfect, close to a market where we could get water and snacks. The room was great, clean and the temperature in the room was perfectly cool despite the extremely hot temperatures in Split! Didn’t matter we had to climb a few flights of stairs to get to the room….we knew we were going into a cooler room and didn’t have to wait for the ac to kick in. We packed a small fan, because the room temp was cooler, we didn’t have to turn the AC on so much. We found the refrigerator had complimentary bottles water, some juice, breakfast bars and sweet treats. In addition, the host made themselves available in case anything was needed.

Eugen was an incredible host. He took the time to give us a map and show us where we should visit right in the middle of preparing rooms for other guests. He was very easy to contact and we really appreciated the little touches that made our stay there special. The room itself is spacious, clean, comfortable and in the perfect location. I really couldn't recommend staying here enough.

Such a privilege to be in the palace and have a lovely view of the park too. Although the palace is very busy in the mornings you can’t hear the crowds with double glazing. Also good and quiet aircon (in July 30+ is awesome and necessary).

I really can’t think of a negative. I suppose only that it was a bit pricey, but I believe that is all of Split.

The location was excellent. An easy 10 minute walk from the airport shuttle bus. When you get the shuttle at the airport, it’s 8 euros and you pay the driver. When you leave the bus station in Split you must buy the ticket inside the station and it is 8.70 euros. The ride takes 40-45 minutes and the taxi charges 50 euros. When walking from the station, go straight, directly to the old town. Go up the incline about 150-200m. You will see to arches on the left. Take the second entrance. After 30m, take your first right, go 30m down the alley, and take your first left. Go 30m, and you will see the steps on your right. Go up the steps, through the door, and up the steps again to the top. There is no lift / elevator. The bed was great; the WiFi was great; the air conditioning worked perfectly.

We found the pillows were too big so another smaller size would be great to choose from. Adding a couple of plates and a sharp knife would be a great addition to the Accommodation if you wished to chop fruit or other for breakfast/lunch.

Comfortable accommodation in the heart of the Old Town in Split at a very affordable price for a quick couple of nights before we boarded our Super Yacht cruise.

I like everything...Elderly and disabled people should take into account that before getting to the room you will have to climb quite a steep staircase and if you have a lot of luggage this may be difficult

Bed was a bit creaky, and not really much ability to sit comfortably within the room short of sitting on the bed, but these are only small issues

Excellent location within the walls of the Old Town. Surrounded by bars and restaurants but quiet later in the evening, allowing for a good sleep. Great communication with the host throughout, and the apartment was as described and clean. Good shower / bathroom, with no problems experienced.

The bed wasn’t the most comfortable and the hot water was very limited in the shower. Otherwise it was great!

It’s in a fantastic location, very easy to get to, and the rooms are spacious with a nice view. Communication was very easy for check in and any questions we had during our stay.
