We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation is in an excellent location — it's easy and quick to reach the city center and nearby markets on foot. The apartment was spotlessly clean and perfectly equipped with everything one might need for a summer holiday. A big plus is the private parking space. What truly stood out was the hospitality of the hosts — they gave us a warm welcome and made sure throughout our stay that we had everything we needed. Such lovely and caring people! We can’t wait to come back again, and we’ll gladly recommend this place to everyone!

Lovely clean comfy apartment - bed very comfy, shower fab and spacious. Bit of a walk out of town centre - about 15 mins and quite uphill on way back, but local supermarket, restaurants and beaches handy. Branco was the best host - collection and drop off at the port, excellent chat and his wife made the best apple custard strudel. Towels changed every other day, tea and coffee provided and little kitchen available, with washing machine.

The property is in walking distance of the Marina however being high up is an uphill trek in the heat albeit there are plenty of taxis around

The location was beautiful, with shops, resturants and the beach near by. The rooms exceeded expectations and so did the hosts. They were so welcoming and helpful. If we ever come to Hvar again we would defo stay here again.

The apartment was perfect for our weeks stay in Hvar. Being picked by Branko near the ferry wharf was the start of an excellent experience. Our hosts went out of their way to ensure we were very comfortable in our apartment. The apartment had everything required to ensure we had the perfect stay.

The property is newly refurbished with a personal touch of the owner who organised spaces in every detail and fully accessorised it. He is very kind and welcoming and since the property is in a quiet residential area close to a nice beach but a bit far from the ferry terminal he offered to pick us up and take us to the port free of charge. There is a supermarket nearby and laundry plus kitchen facilities are available in the rooms or shared at the floor. Very happy to have been there

Is a perfect place to stay. Run by Branco family they are really nice and warm people. They offered to pick up and take us to the ferry. The room is very nice and the location is in between the beach and the town, so very convenient. A great choice!

Good breakfast. Location is very quiet and safe. I didn’t even have to lock my room. I could use the washer at no extra charge and that was very helpful. The host picked me up from the port when I arrived and dropped me off when I left.

Wifi was slow in our room

Wifi did not work for the first day due to the heavy rainfalls the first day. Host mentioned this but this was not a big issue for us at all.

The host was extremely friendly, helped us with a lot. Property was clean, cosy and very close to city center of Hvar.

We were a family of 5 and had messaged the property owner several times about staying together in the apartment but were told that no more than 4 could stay as it only has 1 bathroom, so we had to also book a double room downstairs which made the stay very expensive for us. On arrival the apartment was found to be very spacious with 2 bedrooms and had a large sofa bed which could easily accommodate us all. We were then offered for us all to stay in the apartment at an additional charge, which we would have preferred to do originally, had we not already also paid for the double room. The owner had locked one of the bedrooms so my son had to sleep on the sofa rather than on the other available bed which seemed pointless and provided us with a less comfortable experience. We have stayed in family apartments throughout Croatia sharing a single bathroom without issue, so this policy is unusual. I would definitely return to Guesthouse Kokolo if we could all stay in the apartment together, as it can easily accommodate a family of 5.

The apartment is modern, well equipped and very spacious with a terrace that gives a lovely view of the sunset. It is only a 10 minute walk in to town and the owner kindly collected us on arrival so we did not have to carry our bags on the walk uphill. Having a washing machine is handy to get your beach clothes clean before departure.

Lovely bathroom and comfy bed. Very helpful having a fridge and a kettle. Stefan was lovely & accommodating! The free lift to the accommodation was a nice addition so we didn’t have to walk with our bags.

We couldn't have picked a better place to stay in hvar. Hosts were the most lovely welcoming people and the room was modern, clean and spacious with everything we needed. The only thing we would change is to have stayed longer! :) 100% recommend
