As mobility is a bit of an issue, I did find the steps to the property were challenging. But soon realised that steps are everywhere in Dubrovnik.

The owner was lovely and very kindly helped me with my case and welcomed me with a refreshing drink. She couldnt do enough to help throughout my stay. My room was good with very comfortable bed, great shower and amazing views! There was a small balcony which overlooked Dubrovnik and the sea….just perfect for relaxing with a cuppa.

If you have a car you should plan to park your car before coming dubrownik since old old town has limited park facility and expensive park fee

The location is fantastic, a 2 minute walk to Ploce gate and Banje beach. Great options nearby for food, with a great bakery and convenience store to get you sorted with food for your day ahead. The airport shuttle bus drops at Ploce gate and collects from the cable car stop, so you don’t have to walk far with suitcases to get to and from guesthouse Enny which is always a plus. Maris is an excellent, friendly and informative host. We were due to arrive in Dubrovnik 3 hours before the advertised check in time and although we didn’t expect to check in early, Maris had our room ready for us on arrival so we could drop our heavy bags off, get settled and head on out to explore Dubrovnik and make the most of our holiday. The room itself is spacious, clean, bright and airy with a brilliant little balcony over looking the old town and harbour where you can enjoy the best of the views and afternoon sun. The bed is huge and very comfortable which is appreciated after a long day of exploring and climbing Dubrovniks stairs! The room is well equipped, complete with an en-suite and hot, powerful shower. I loved the selection of tea bags and cappuccino sachets, complete with decent sized mugs which made us feel at home. The neighbourhood is quiet and we felt safe for our entire stay, with undisturbed, restful sleep. We are so glad we chose to stay in Ploce instead of the old town!

Location was amazing! Lots of steps but a short walk down to the old town. Lovely and quiet. Maris was very attentive, answered all our questions and offered fresh coffee in the morning! A great stay if you’re just looking for a base. Perfect spot to explore what the town had to offer.
