It was perfect

By some degree, this was the best rental in our fortnight backpacking trip in northern Croatia. Frankly, it was one of the best apartments I have ever stayed in. My family want to return to Rovinj simply to stay here again. It was that good.

We spent three wonderful nights at the Grisia 26 apartment in Rovinj and absolutely loved it. The apartment is full of charm, beautifully decorated, and located in the heart of the old town—yet still easy to reach from the parking area. Shops, cafés, bars, restaurants, and the sea were all just minutes away, but the place was quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. The top-floor apartment was bright and cozy, with a lovely private terrace offering views of the sea and the bell tower of St. Euphemia’s Church. Our host welcomed us warmly at the gate and even surprised us with wine, apples, and fresh flowers. He also gave great local tips and was always kind whenever we saw him. We truly loved both the city and this amazing place—next time we come to Rovinj, we’ll definitely stay here again!

Super nice and perfectly equipped apartment with a stunning little roof terrace. Absolutely nothing negative to mention, but you have to be in good health to walk up the stairs to the apartment.

We were greeted at the apartment by our host and communication with the host was great. The apartment was in a great location and within walking distance to everything. It was comfortable, clean, quiet and has a nice vibe. There is a small outdoor patio on the top floor which was nice to have. There are lots of stairs but that was not an issue for us at all. All in all a wonderful visit to this beautiful city!

This is not at all a complaint but want to be sure all aware that old town is built on a hill of tiny cobblestone alleys. There are no cars permitted. The apartment is on the 3rd floor with no lift, and the patio is accessed via ladder. If you have any mobility concerns or limitations, this is not the right place for you. In fact, Rovinj in general will be difficult due to the steep incline and difficult cobblestone.

Outstanding location right in Old Town, charming apartment, warm and personable decor, fun little loft where our young teen liked to hang, delightful tiny patio surrounded by plants and accessed by ladder-like stairs. The host was simply the best we’ve ever worked with, great communication, guidance and so friendly. If you’re looking to get a more authentic experience of a medieval hill town, in the charming beautiful heart, I highly recommend you skip sterile and generic hotels outside of town, and live like a temporary local.

Property is on the 5th floor and only access is up a very tight steep stairwell. Anyone with any sort of physical limitations simply could not do it. Should be in the listing so renters are aware. Caution should be exercised when using the shower!!! A little handbook would be helpful-listing wifi code, advising on where to buy coffee pods, how to not lock street access door to allow mail man in. Simple yet useful to renters.

Fabulous location! Lovely well appointed property on the art walk of Rovinj! The welcome wine and cookies was appreciated along with the bottle of water in the fridge. The fresh flowers were a delight. Overall a wonderful two night stay!!

The entrance to the apartment is dark and has steap small stairs. We learned that this is the case of all appartments in the old town, so be prepared for it.

Nice location. The description was true. Value for money. Rovinj is quite an expensive destination.
