Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomExtra charges for sunbeds and umbrellas … €80 a day for a family of four which was very expensive. At this price point this should be included. Some of the facilities were a little dated e.g mini golf course and the pool was very crowded although we are in peak summer so understandable.
Very comfortable and clean glamping tent. Excellent shower and very well equipped. We loved the water taxi to Rovinj which went regularly and late into the evening.

ItalyIt’s a tent in the end, you have outside lights entering at night and in the morning..as well as some noise from sprinklers watering the plants in the middle of the night. If you are someone easily distracted or woken up by these things, it is not for you. I didn’t sleep that well during my stay and have been disturbed constantly by the light and the noise but it didn’t matter much to me since it is something normal for a stay in a tent.
Facilities like swimming pool with the view of the city of Rovinj and the sea, various children’s playground and a nice long beach road which looked well maintained for a stroll or a bike ride. We could enjoy a peaceful 3 night stay in a protected and well-kept area. The tent had everything we needed, electric kettle, nespresso machine with a few complimentary nespresso capsules, american coffee machine, sandwich grill, electric bbq grill, microwave, induction..(if you are traveling with your own moka to make your italian coffee in the morning, you need one for the induction). We were also lucky to have nice glamping tent neighbours who were quiet most of the time without making much noise.

United KingdomGlamping tent was fab but although furnishings were well made etc some additional “comfort” furnishings would be useful - cushions etc Opening times of some facilities a little confusing, also unfair that camping residents have to pay for sun beds by pool and on beach
Fab location pleasant hours walk along coast to Rovinj. very helpful staff, the camping facilities - toilets etc were spotless . Very clean everywhere, glamping tent great, well equipped. Made to feel welcome

AustraliaShop on site not being open was a bit of a bummer as the nearest shop was a very long walk away. Tent felt a little far out from pool. Kids amenities not as great as I thought they would be. We stayed at vestar also and that was unbelievable for them. It’s a busy place but it wasn’t so bad that it put you off.
Loved the glamping tent! It was a wonderful experience for my kids and I didn’t get bitten alive like I thought I would. It was clean and survived a huge downpour thunderstorm. We never did it as only stayed for two nights and came from staying in old town but it’s fab you can get a ferry back there to there as I imagine staying on the site for a longer period of time it would be advantageous.

SloveniaYou could maybe add a small dishwasher. In the case of storm and heavy winds tent shakes a lot and makes a lot of noice but I guess it is normal for a tent.

SwitzerlandLack of information from reception desk.
We had a great stay, shame that the information given at the reception/welcome desk for things to do was very poor and badly explained, the girl always had to look on her papers for things to do.. we discovered well more with google for things to do.. such a shame with so many things to see and do. Here some suggestions: Visit Montovun, Pula and Brioni but not the museums go to the other Islands, then go to Red Islands and walk them around. Or take the kayak and go from the familiy hotel in front to the little Island (no name sorry), visit Rovigno of course (by bike or taxi boat) then continue to the end of Rovigno and go along towards the park so nice... we used bike-istria 203 ... enjoy

FranceWe stayed in Glambing tents, it was not confortable for the money we have paid. The area where the tents are is too noisy and surrounded by campers. Staff are not very helpful. We feel we in any opportunity, Amarin is trying to earn money. We needed a coin for the washing machine, they obliged us to buy detergent as well for 7 euros !!!

CroatiaAlthough we checked online few days before, we needed to come again to the reception and wait almost half an hour. It’s very lloud when someone’s walking through the tent. There are no curtains in tent so the light wakes you up when sun rise. There is no grociery store within the camp. Tents should be cleaned better under the beds and furniture. Beach has very bad sea entrance, even for adults with lot of the big stones.
-Very cosy tents with beautiful details -Lot of barbecue places within the camp -many kids activitis -atmosphere in camp is relaxed, easy going -prices not so huge regarding food & beverages
