It is a bit dated but well maintained.

The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was also excellent and location is perfect next to the park and only a few minutes walk to beaches and attractions.

At check-in we were just informed that there is a garage available but nobody exposed that it is payable. The parking fare is cheaper for hotel guests but anyway - it should be mentioned up-front...

The room was quite dated. No tea/coffee in the room, no kettle or anything.

Location was great, room was dated and needed some TLC. Door handle fell off the bathroom door and wallpaper was lifting.

Breakfast not included in the price. Did not eat at the hotel. Air-con did not manage to get the room down to a comfortable temperature. Our room was not in the main building but in adjacent building. I was charged for city tax (Euro 12,-) at check out. I had already paid for tax when I booked through Booking.com. I will get back to Booking.com in a separate communication.

It's an old hotel and a few things in the bathroom were not functioning well.

Very well located,a supermarket and a fruit market nearby. The bedding is comfortable and the staff very friendly.

There were no drinking glasses in the room.

We stayed for one night in a sea-view room and had a great experience. We were lucky to get a room with two separate beds, just as we wanted. Upon check-in, we were welcomed with champagne, which was a lovely touch. We also got a complimentary late check-out until 1 PM, which was fantastic and really helpful for us since our transport from Opatija was later in the day. This allowed us to rest after being out all night for a concert. The room was clean and nicely furnished, with a balcony offering a genuine sea view. Breakfast was also very good and included in the room price. Overall, everything was excellent and we truly enjoyed our stay.

The room was spaceous with high ceiling and a lovely balcony with a really nice view, loved it! The breakfast was nice and the hotel even had it's own little chocolate museum, which we enjoyed. The location couldn't be better - everything was a walkable distance and so close to the sea!

Staff is very polite,friendly communication and helpful as well,but I have to mention particular Anita from reception that made my son very happy with nice gesture 🥰 Location is perfect, on main street, walk distance to the beach, with plenty bars and restaurants around but restaurant of the hotel is amazing too,delicious food and acceptable prices👌 Recommend indeed

That I could stay only one night!

Everything! I love an old grande dame hotel (that has been updated/renovated). The rooms are spacious, with tall ceilings, the hallways are wide, and the atmosphere and decor are gracious and welcoming. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I have had in a long time! The breakfast buffet was exceptional. The staff, especially Anna, are top-notch. The location is excellent, and there is a paying garage in which to park.

However, cleanliness was lacking: the room was full of dust and cobwebs. Additionally, the bathroom was poorly maintained, with outdated fixtures and signs of mold in the shower cabin.

The location is excellent, with restaurants, shops and quick access to the beach nearby. The room is spacious and the staff proved to be very friendly.

Hotel is a bit outdated. There are no clean markings how to get from hotel parking ( paid parking for 25€/day; BTW penalty for parking on street is 25,5€) to hotel reception. Quite confusing. Bed mattress is too soft ( personal opinion). Rooms are a bit boring. They could use some touchup.

Hotel has very good location, breakfast was very good. Rooms are bih and with high ceiling. Old and impressive building. The coffee shop below is very nice and with nice terraces all around hotel. Staff is super nice and useful.

Rooms are outdated, not as clean as expected from a hotel. Furniture unsatisfactory: lamp and fridge not plugged in/not working, no shelf or thelike in the bathroom to store the toilet bag.

The facilities missed for us. No toaster in dining room, no toast? Much of the buffet hot food was at best lukewarm. No poached eggs. No coffee maker in the room or even a kettle to boil water for a cup of coffee/tea. When we inquired we were informed “we are only a 3 star hotel”. This is or once was a grand old hotel that misses the mark given the tariff asked.

Location was excellent. Reception staff were very good and helpful. The room was very spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable.

Although we were not located in the main building, suite in the building right next to it, which could use a nice renovation, still radiated the charm of some good, old, past times. The location is perfect, the breakfast is fantastic and all the small flaws that this beautiful hotel has are compensated by the warm smiles of the employees. Special praise goes to the very kind receptionist!

Confusing parking location, very expensive.

Patricia, manager was very helpful, friendly and kind, assisting us with a change of itinerary. We believe we received a room upgrade to a view room with a Juliette balcony. Room was spacious and comfortable. Buffet breakfast was good quality and variety.
