Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Bosnia and HerzegovinaThe room (514) was old, and the balcony wasn't nice at all. The third bed (for our 14yo son) was almost impossible to sleep on, but the kid didn't complain so I decided to let it go. Avoid this room.
Right next to a beautiful beach with clean sea, lots of natural shade. The food was really good, I loved it. It's a very quiet place, so if you're looking for a peaceful vacation, you're in the right place. No parties, no loud music. Lots of families with little kids tho, which I do not mind. Parking was free, just a few minutes away from the hotel, and very easy to find.

AustraliaSame comment as many have made - the stairs are a real negative. If a lift can't be retrofitted indoors, surely part of the main steps from the street to reception could be allocated to a ramp to wheel up suitcases?
We have stayed at Faraon before and find it quite comfortable for our needs. The young man on reception was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I don't recall his name, unfortunately, but he was great and always remembered our room without us having to tell him. Very impressive.

First line on the sea. Beach in front of hotel. Walking paths in kilometres with breathtaking scenery. Three stars are saying enough for hotel.

SwedenEven though there’s no elevator, it’s great exercise after enjoying the amazing food! However, assistance with bags would be appreciated, especially when traveling alone with a child.
My stay was with my 6-year-old daughter, and the staff was fantastic. Everyone—from the reception to the bar, restaurant, and housekeeping—was so friendly and helpful. I have traveled a lot, both privately and for work, and have stayed at many luxury hotels, but this hotel has something special—a warm, family-like, and helpful culture. I have stayed here before and will definitely be back again! :)

Bosnia and HerzegovinaParking for the hotel was a few minutes walk from the hotel and not easy to reach during high summer temperatures. Not very friendly for people with mobility issue as there is no elevator in the hotel and there are mamy stairs to walk if your room is at the sevond floor.
Well positioned hotel and fabulous view on the sea. Very kind staff especially at the reception. Not much variety for the food but tasty and well prepared.

United KingdomThe breakfast wasn’t the best but lots of choice. The American pancakes cooked fresh were good though! Parking at the front was full but there was more parking a minute away. Old wooden patio doors that didn’t lock properly but we felt safe so not too much of an issue. Rooms are dated
The location was perfect right on the beach. We went to the beach and the pool. The pool was also great and deep! There were lots of sun loungers even after getting there late afternoon. The room had an amazing view from the balcony. Staff are friendly and assisted us after making an error on booking.com Few nice restaurants a few minutes walk away along the front. The sunset was amazing here. Aircon worked well.

PolandThe hotel requires a decent refresh; what I found particularly disturbing was the fungal smell from the air con in the room, also multiple signs of fungus under the shower. Overall the room was stuffy and very old fashioned. During high season, finding space to park, when arriving late, is a challange, despite the extra free parking which in esence is an overgrown plot of land. The few decent payable parking places in front of the hotel are hard to catch.
Very good location, Kind and friendly staff, good breakfast.

IrelandEverything was fine. People with mobility issues might find the amount of stairs difficult.
When we arrived the first thing was the little, secluded at that time beach right in front of the hotel. It was beautiful. Hotel looks old but was refreshed and is really ok. Staff super friendly! Mid May so not many people. Pool area clean and neat. Avarage hotel like food but fresh in the buffets. Rooms small, no kettle or special equipment but just what you need to sleep. Fantastic value for the price! There's a ferry literally a few minutes walk from the hotel that will take you for a gew Euros across the harbour.

Bosnia and HerzegovinaFor neat freaks this is not the place as it is not the cleanest one and it really needs some renovation. Bed is quite uncomfortable. Nobody is checking bracelets so you could easily use all inclusive perks with only half-board or even only breakfast paid. There is no elevator so if you are not in premium rooms be prepared for tons of stairs, but the view from the rooms is really nice. Guys on the grill are not skilled so many people complained that meat was raw - they should really pay more attention to this. There is only one umbrella at the pool - luckily there is some shade at the pool bar. I can see that larger people would have trouble using shower as it quite small. Also if you are looking for adults only option this is not the hotel for you as majority of guests are families with smaller children.
Really close to: the main beach (couple of meters), smaller wild beaches and the port. Pool was suprisingly good - large and nice depth (cca 2m). Pool bar is AMAZING and nice area to sit and chill in the shade. Food choice was good for all meals. Nice selection of beverages: nice cold beer, wines, drinks, coffee, stronger drinks..Most of the staff is very friendly. It is per friendly and considering number of dogs it really was clean. We did end up extending our stay as it was much cheaper than other hotels in Croatia.

Czech RepublicI cannot reliably lock the door to the balcony. Beach beds and not included in the price of accommodation and system of their reservation is confusing. We asked at reception - they told us that they have nothing to do with that. So we took a free bed on the beach waiting for somebody to come to charge us - but only confused "owner" of the bed came telling us that we have to reserve our own at the reception :-O.
The restaurant staff we extremely kind and helpful. View from the room is excellent (2nd floor, sea side). Hotel is in easy walking distance from the ferry port.
