How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

We had a wonderful one-week stay at Emis apartment in Pula. Emi, our host, was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our visit. She shared great tips on where to travel and where to eat, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Communication with her was always quick and attentive. We truly appreciated her warm hospitality and would strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting Pula ☺️

Graffiti around the entrance door from the street and shabby entrance area were off-putting. The entrance area is in need of an upgrade and the stairs up one floor aren’t easy with luggage but you only need to do it once!! 😁 It would help if the description made it clear that there are several apartments inside one section of the floor. The photos do not indicate which apartment they relate to. It might help to allocate photos to apartment number as they are different layouts.
Comfortable and great location. Calm decor once inside the entrance to the apartments. Lovely owner who was very helpful and communicated well. Great for a few days but not much storage space to stay longer term. Great coffee machine - not shown in the photos! Comfy bed, good blackout shutters and efficient airconditioning! ( it was 39 deg.!)

Everything was 10/10!!
The studio is located in the city centre of Pula. Everything, shops, restaurants etc. are within walking distance. The studio itself is very well equipped and super clean. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom as well. The host, Emi is very helpfull and she responds within minutes when needed. She even arranged taxi rides for us, highly recommended to do so when needed. Emi, your studio is great, thank you so much and we hope to stay again with you in the future! 10/10!!

Everything was great!
Good size appartment with modern facilities and nice decor - comfortable bed, separate kitchen area, clean modern bathroom with good water pressure. We were able to cook using the kitchen equipment - the market is 100 meters away! And thank you Emi for such a warm welcome, and making sure we got to the bus station in good time at the end of our stay.

A bit of noise at night from the pedestrian zone below.
Great apartments in the centre of Pula. The apartments were comfortable and we'll appointed, and very nicely furnished. The owner is super friendly and helpful, she will ensure that you're having a good time.

If you get a room facing the pedestrian street it can get noisy in the evening… If possible you can ask for a room facing the inner courtyard it will be quieter…
Very easy communication with Emi The apartment was very stylish!! The bed like a cloud! ( we slept like babies! ) Very fancy coffee machine who provided us with excellent cappuccino every morning Everything was clean, nice , comfy One of the best place I even stayed in!!! EXCELLENT PRICE FOR THE QUALITY YOU ARE GETTING WITHOUT A DOUBT!

We had an amazing stay! Highly recommend anyone looking for a place to stay. Emi goes above and beyond to create best experience for her guests. It was very convenient and Nice that owners sent a file with detailed information to get to the apartment in advance. The location really couldn’t be more central. Apartment was beautiful and clean, surprisingly quiet for the city center. Bus stops 2’ far. Grocery store and a great bakery next by. The customer servise superb! When We messaged the owner we got a really quick response back.

WiFi went off in the afternoon. Had 4g so not really a problem.

The only thing that I would say was slightly inconvenient was not having a clear parking space near by. We have parked few streets away and sadly got a ticket as didn't realise we were not allowed to park there.
Although we only stayed one night we really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was good size and in a good location. We struggled with opening the door but was quickly helped by the hosts. Couple of beers in the fridge were a nice surprise and much needed after the whole day of traveling.

V central to old town roman arch and eating out area. Great bakery accross Street for breakfast and coffee. V helpful hosts. Appartment had excellent TV with all streaming options plus cool coffee maker.

The only thing some might find problematic are occasional street performers below the apartment but they are there only a couple of hours during the day and you will probably be at the beach at that time :) even still it was not a major issue.
You know how there is always something with the accommodation? Well I coulnd't think of any issues with Emi's apartments. Also, what you see here is what you get. Photos are honest and I was not dissapointed. Everything was perfect. I felt like I was in a luxury hotel. Emi was very responsive and helpful, though if I had followed the instructions she gave me I wouldn't have to call her at all :D The apartment is very nice, cozy and very comfortable. I was there at a very hot period, but the flat was very cool by itself. I used AC for a brief period to cool myself after entering the flat. The AC is very very quiet.
