How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Fridges didnt work very well, (leonora) bathroom toiletries not very pleasant, ( other room) took a while to work out tv in my room (leonora) but got it eventually !
Rooms were great, shower and bathroom were super, location was perfect, bed was really comfy and area really peaceful !

Great location! Close to the historical centre. The room is clean and comfy. We loved how close it was to everything. Host was super responsive and helpful!

The fridge is not really cold. I didn't ask the host specifically because I wasn't using anyways. I believe it could be fixed promptly as the host was very friendly and responsive.
Located in the central of the central. 2 minutes walk to restaurants, bars and supermarkets. Room is clean and spacious. A/C is working well (very important!). Shower's water pressure is nice and strong.

Stayed for 2 nights and it was a great stay. The APPT is a 5 min walk to the promenade. Everything in appt was fully functional. If u have trouble finding the APPT, Silvia provides a video for help, overall I would recommend. If you need any type of assistance, Silvia was a quick response.

Nothing. For what we wanted it was perfect.
The location was very convenient. The staff was extremely accommodating, providing transportation from the airport even though we arrived after midnight. The room was very clean and comfortable. We left some valuable and important items in the room at check out and the staff immediately contacted us so we could come back and retrieve them, which saved our vacation. The room was excellent, and the staff was even better.

Walking distance from the Split Old Town and Matejuska Pier, near a big carpark (although it is almost full each time we try to find carpark), the room was very clean and nicely furnished... and the shower gels given smells very nice, too! Host also very responsive with text, gave us some recommendations of places to visit in Split, too.

The place is very comfortable and is very close to Key locations in the city. We face a bit of Wi-Fi troubles but the host was very fast to respond and help us out. Other than that my room lacked a kettle but thankfuly a lot of Cafés are in the close-by. The stay itself was good.

The parking lot is close by but costs 20 Euros a day and can be very busy. The walk to the old town from the apartment is not really direct. You need to go through narrow winding streets that can be dark and hard to navigate at night.
The room is clean and bright. The directions to find the apartment were excellent. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. The location is just a short walk to the Split old town. There are shops and restaurants a short walk away. The room has a small fridge. There was a parking lot near by. The host was helpful.

A little hard to find the room. And the closed parking space sucks.

A really nice and clean room, exactly as shown in the pictures. Great location in the center of Split, right next to the parking lot. The self check-in process makes everything much easier. The coffee machine, welcome chocolates, water, etc., make this room stand out from its competitors.

Very fancy apartment, the bathroom was amazing and the host was exceptional. Super friendly and allowed us to check in early and also check out late. I left some belongings behind and the host held onto them for over a week. All in all a really good experience and would definitely book here again.

The property is a 2 minute walk from the centre of Split everything is right on its doorstep, the host Silvija was very helpful offered to organize a taxi to collect us from the airport and contact with the host was very easy. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy everything was as described, no faults

The only thing the room could benefit from is a safe.
The location is very convenient, just a couple of minutes walk from the inner part of the old town. The room was beautifully decorated and absolutely spotless. We has a generous sized bathroom with good quality toiletries provided. There was a Nespresso machine and coffee provided in the room. The beds were very comfy and Silvia allowed us to leave our luggage there before check in time whilst the room was cleaned.
