The building is beautiful and the pool is a welcome treat after travelling. But it is the welcoming owners of the property who make Dolphin Suites so special and memorable. The lemonade on arrival is lovely and the menu for snacks at the pool, dinner or breakfast is well priced and delicious.

Unfortunately, we experienced a few issues during our stay. The Wi-Fi connection was very weak and difficult to use. Parking was not available on-site – only public parking about 4 minutes away, and it was not always possible to find a space. We had booked a room with a bathtub, but the hot water from the boiler was only enough to fill it partially, and then it ran out. In addition, the bathtub drain did not work properly, so the water leaked out and I couldn’t fully enjoy the bath as I had hoped. The wardrobe doors were broken and misaligned, so I couldn’t use it either. These details made the stay less comfortable than we had hoped.

The room was spacious, very clean, and the staff were friendly and attentive, which we really appreciated. Also we appreciated the welcome drink on arrival.

Unfortunately, wifi/internet was not working during the week, which may cause problems in case of work-related needs, but it seemed common on the island.

Great location and very comfortable renovated hotel in the center of Veli Lussino. Breakfast was amazing, fresh, tasty, and cozy a wonderful place to go back to at the end of a fun day at the beach.

Nothing we didn't like, parking is free and just 5 mins away

Perfect short stay at this lovely boutique style hotel in Veli Losinj. Our hosts were so welcoming, a cool water on arrival and we were shown to a beautiful room at the rear of the property. Nice and cool with shutters and high ceilings. Plenty of choice for breakfast each day and great coffee. So nice having a pool to retreat to late afternoon and enjoyed watching the swifts dive in for a quick drink. Ideal spot for sightseeing in the area. Recommend the local bike hire though make sure you have plenty of water with you.

Breakfast was great, the aircon was excellent, we had one good meal at supper time. The host and hostess were charnming and very helpful. The situation was lovely with a cute pool and comfortable sun loungers and the place was incredibly quiet which was lovely.

Dolphin is an Amazing Quality design boutique hotel! The manager and staff were utterly nice and helpful throughout our stay. The bar and breakfast services had outstanding quality. Our goal was to relax and we totally reached that goal in the hotel and in the beautiful and romantic Veli Lošinj village and seasides. Dolphins is a pearl-box in the island. We recommend the place to visit in off seasons from spring or autumn as well when it is even more relaxed and because of its special microclimate or aromatic healthy air.

Having to leave and come home...

Perfect in every way. Breakfasts were as superb as we remembered them last time, and the evening meal we had on the terrace, by the pool, was exceptional. We rarely make return visits to hotels, preferring instead to discover new places. However, Dolphin Suites is utterly irresistible. And, it's adults only, meaning the pool area is just heaven.

Non existing carpark. You have to leave the car in the free carpark in the woods uphill, but it's not far, 4 min. You can't reserve a place so you have to search for one every time you come back.

Breakfast was great, but it is always the same, so if you are stayimg longer than 4 days it get's monotonous. It would be great if they would offer more vegetables and some other bread than the toast. Croissaints were delicious, but marmalaide offered on the side should be of better quality. The pool is great, sunbeds also, rooms very big and comfortable, everything is clean. Nice big towels. The staff is great, very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Special jewel of the place is Diana! If you're looking for nightlife, you will have to go to Mali Lošinj. If you need to check out early, make sure you pay the day before because we had to wake up the owner at 7.20am even though it says that checkout is from 7 a.m., he came at 7.40a.m. so we missed our ferry.

We loved our stay here. Really chilled and was exactly what we were looking for. The staff, location (just up the hill out of the main town) food and facilities were all fantastic. Cocktails were amazing. Yoga was a lovely touch. And we can’t thank the staff enough - after our ferry was cancelled they were so kind to help us find another way to get to Veli losinj.

Wi-fi is quite bad, bathrooms are open concept (no walls) -who likes it (I dont) go for it, breakfast is a bit boring, especially if you stay for a longer time. We were informed at a check out that it is possible do order anything you want, but we were unfortunately not informed on that possibility prior to check out. Rooms do need some improvement and reparation.

The warm welcome. All of the staff were so friendly, helpful, attentive and smiling & made us feel totally at home in this hotel The yoga class with an excellent teacher (the lovely Diana) set us up for the day. Marnix the chef and manager of hotel prepared delicious fresh and healthy food for breakfast lunch and dinner and ... at reasonable prices too. We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return again soon. ABSOLUTELY adored Veli Losinj, the island of Vitality ! A super great find for us ! We'll be back;)

There’s nothing to dislike about this place.

It felt like second home to us. The team is brilliant. Well managed and kind, every single one of them. Quick to help when needed and always aware of one’s privacy. It is place to relax. Quite tones of lovely music, peaceful enough to finish reading a book, next to a very-well-taken-care-of pool. But just few steps away from buzzing and most magical little town. The food in the hotel is great, wines lovely and they make beautiful cocktails. I could see myself coming back year after a year.
