How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewThe resort located on private beach, the pool is divided in 2 parts- families and swimmers. The dining room is big with very tasty food. The rooms are big and equipped with everything , very clean, parking.
Generally I liked the place, nothing negative . Check in time is vey late 1600 and check out is very early 1000 . But people coming early and using the beach and the pool.

Verified reviewReally clean and beautiful resort. Can sit by the sea or the pool and easy to find sun beds. Both are lovely to swim in, comfortable temp and you can snorkel and see some fish in the clear sea. There is a full program of activities and a kids club but easy to stay away from them if desired and no loud parties at night as the pool shuts at 8pm. Get a pool view room as it's a gorgeous view and better than the car park view! Rooms are a good size for 4 people, air conditioned, fridge etc. We went half board so buffets for breakfast and dinner but food was delicious and good choice. Can also pay for food in the bar and the a la carte restaurant if staying for lunch. There's a shop where you can buy lots of basics if in the self catering bit. Go visit Pula near by and take a free walking tour with Dalan of Augustus walking tours, Rovinj is pretty too.
Service/paying in the pool bar could be a bit slow when you just want an ice cream!

Verified reviewAbsolutely loved our stay. Property is very private, far away from the crowds, very clean, great facilities for adults and kids. Food was 10/10, loved every meal. Even food in a la cart restaurant is amazing, specially burgers. Cocktails at the pool bar were also great.

Verified reviewThe location is nice as it is right next to the beach, the wild beaches around are reachable easily. We really recommend going on a bike ride along the coast, the views are breathtaking. Bike rental is next to the entrance. The rooms are very clean, you get fresh towels every single day. The internet works well in all areas of the resort, the room has smart TV with YouTube, Netflix etc. which is a huge plus. The resort has everything that you need if you don't want to really leave it: supermarket, laundry room, restaurants, bar, really nice and well equipped gym, game room.
We stayed on the ground floor near the entrance and next to the utility room for the cleaners, which had a very very big disadvantage. Every single day at 7am the cleaners were very loud and noisy, talking and even vacuuming on the corridors, so we could not sleep more at all on the holidays we would like to rest. The beach sunbeds are good for max 30 minutes, they are cheap and you cannot stay longer on them as they are uncomfortable. Next to the pool is more convenient and would be nice to have the same type of sunbeds on the beach as well. Half board: the food is repetitive as we stayed 5 nights, we had mostly the same food for breakfast and dinner. Compared to other hotels it would be nice to consider next to the main dishes to have different nights for each dinner: ex. Monday seafood, Tuesday Local dishes, Wednesday Italian food... The dessert should get more attention as they have only frozen premade ones and they are almost the same every night.

No coffe machine in the room. No mini bar. You have to pay for towels, leave a deposite, but you get it back when you return towels. Beach is not great, entrance to the water is impossible without water shoesbig crowd. Pools are huge but there is also a lot of people. Some strange carpets are around the pool and they look dirty, not hygienic. U cant use cash nowhere in the resort.
