Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SwitzerlandI found the hotel a little overpriced, but if you take advantage of the pools and the spa, it’s actually good value. We only stayed for one night. I would recommend at least two nights to fully enjoy everything.
The facilities, including the pool and sauna, are excellent. The views from both the pool and the restaurant are simply superb. I can highly recommend the restaurant as it offers great value for money.

SpainBe aware that the access to the area where the hotel is located passes by some industrial premises, which are not very attractive, and some rooms even face this side. Our Deluxe rooms had very limited views since they were on the ground floor – I think the hotel should have informed us, as we paid for an upgrade expecting rooms with good views of the Marina and the sea. We asked for a change; they said it was not possible and that they could try the next day, but we never heard back. The maintenance of the pool areas could be greatly improved. The pools had some mold on the walls and broken elements. The service at the pool was not what you would expect from a hotel of this category (dirty furniture, leftovers from other guests, cigarette butts on the floor). Access to the lower pool area is also not well signposted, and there is no proper pedestrian path from the hotel. It is not a very suitable place for swimming in the sea because the water is not very clean, and access to the sea is very poorly maintained by the hotel.
The Deluxe rooms were spacious and very well designed, with comfortable beds. The food at the Art restaurant was very good (although a bit expensive), with beautiful views, and the waiters were very nice and helpful. The spa and gym were also quite good.

SloveniaNothing that I didn't like. They take care of you as much as they possibly can. This is a true 5-star establishment. That being said, from the traveler who saw the world big time, and after experiencing Dubai, thought that nothing could compare. They showed that this is not true. Great job.. Stay this way.
Everything about this hotel is excellent. We had a great time. Upon arrival, we were given a room that was not booked, but it was changed as soon as possible. Very kind, excellent restaurant. Cozy and clean. Will come back there. I noticed that the hotel is dog-friendly, and this is so nice for guests with dogs. Had a bad experience with that in other facilities (not in this hotel), where they claim that the hotel is dog-friendly and then send you away from the pool because dogs can't be there. This hotel is a true dog-friendly establishment. The hotel is not overcrowded, even though it was fully booked. Exclusivity can be felt on every step. Will come back.

Everything was excellent overall. The only minor issue was that the room was a bit too bright for our liking, with light coming in from the sides — blackout curtains would have been preferable. (If you like your room dark, I’d suggest bringing a sleep mask.)
We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Everything was excellent, but what truly stood out was how the team made my birthday so special — a lovely card from Hediye and a delicious cake that really touched me. The hotel’s location is perfect, and we loved taking the boat to the Old Town. The rooms were comfortable and served their purpose well. A big shoutout to the ladies at the breakfast counter — their attention to detail and the perfectly cooked omelettes every morning made each day start on a high note. The pool area is fantastic, with comfortable cabanas and a great beach bar menu. Overall, a superb experience from start to finish.

GermanyThe area around the hotel is a docks dominated surrounding with that very same charme. And instead of enjoying freedom by spending time in a luxurious hotel you are restricted by rules that they call an "etiquette" to treat you like a pupil at a boarding school. Smart casual clothes. No beverages from outside to be consumed in hotel. All printed into welcome folder that contains room card. The utter despair to sell mini bar contents also on display by a huge warning on door that all items temporarily removed "may automaticaly result in charges to your account". The minibar is "not suitable for storage of external products".
Nicely located on a peninsular adjacent the old town of Sibenik (and the commercial port with some rusty ships). About 4 km from center. As a luxury hotel it has two nice swimming pools but no beach though there is a ladder to take a swim in the sea. Staff is super friendly, breakfast is nice on the top floor. Rooms are modern, well isolated with silent air conditioning and well designed - though the transparent wall between bath and bedroom which is nicely looking is unpractical as switching on lights in bath illuminates the whole room. Also motion detector switch behind the door means you cannot silently sneak out the room in the morning without disturbing partner because it causes a sort of floodlight-effect in room. Very nice spa with second pool about the 300 metres up the hill with spectacular view like from restaurant. Gym there is bigger than in most hotels where it merely serves as an alibi with two good treadmills, a stepper, a bike, weights. Beaches are a 10 min drive though the nicest to go swimming (if you do not arrive by yacht) is to catch a boat and do the 30 min trip to quiet Zlarin island. For a quick wash of sports apparel or else there is a wash'n go shop just a couple of 100 metres up the road.

SwitzerlandBreathtaking view of the city of Sibenik, varied and nice breakfast, quiet rooms (there is nothing around) and very comfy beds. Two nice swimming pools. Staff extremely friendly and responsive. We needed a minor fix in the room and it was done in no time, even on Sunday, which we didn't expect. Great boat shuttle, arranged through hotel, takes you in 5 minutes to the center of Sibenik, thus avoiding the hustle of the traffic. I was in the hotel for the opening, and I must say that it has only improved with age, like good wine!

PolandThe only thing we could complain about is the breakfast. We stayed in other less luxurious 4* and the breakfast had less selection but changed daily. I mean less things but with sesonal and better quality food. Also during our 6 days stay every day we has same cakes and same type of fruits.
Everything was perfect. From the welcome drink till the end of our stay. Very nice staff, beautiful hotel and the area around. Amazing sunset view from the roof. Underground parking was additional highlight ;) as the tempretures were rising. Great pools especially the infinity with warmer water.

AustraliaThe boat to take you to old town was in use by a private group, so we had to get a taxi, disappointing given that was one of the reasons we had chosen the location
Great place if you just want to relax, and people watch. Easy access to Old Town via their own boat or taxi.
