We booked a stay for 2 adults and 2 kids and got 2 rooms on DIFFERENT locations in town!! Crazy, right?! Manage to cancel one room and squeeze in one room, all 4 of us. Just for one night, so ok, kids are not big. The biggest problem is that on the add is says they have parking, so we came with the car, but the owner did not warn us that it is forbiden to enter the old town if you are not a resident (it is new regulation, from 2025) and now we expect to get a fine around 400e. He said that he has parking, but did not ask for our plate number and arrange our arrival, like it is normal in all other european cities that have the old center just for residents. When asked about it, he just said- I told you not to come with the car. No he didn't and now we will have to pay a lot for HIS mistake!! Don't say you have a parking if people can not come with the car!!! Also, no place to storage your bags after check out which is at 10 am.

The room wasn’t cleaned properly. I hope they change the cleaning lady. Nothing against them but they can definitely do better :) Not a place for families.

The location is great and the owner was very attentive and welcoming. They really tried their best to give you the best experience and all the guidance we needed. In the heart of the city, very close to a Pile gate. They had view of this lovely old house!

Not the property but we had car we parked then when we come back we paid 49 euro and when I asked they said it is writing ( but writing was very small and not at the entrance and we had to park again we were going to stay that night so he said we can pay £40 and use 24 hours 😡so it is cost us 90euro ) so be careful

The only real complaint was the host offering to collect us from the port where we were getting the ferry to. This appeared a lovely gesture and I accepted, until I realised he wanted to charge twice the Uber fare. This for me is not good form and doesn’t leave a good taste in the mouth before even arriving. That said, there were no other issues. @ Peter – Charge the same as the Uber fare next time! 😉

Clean and spacious with basic but functional kitchenette. Good advance communication with host, and good value for money for the excellent location if you want to explore the old town, which personally I think is over-touristy, but that’s another story!

Some neighbour is deaf. If you hear Harp sounds don't be afraid. It's not the reaper. It's some kind of jingle from TV or Radio. You get used to it and it seemed someone turn down the volume each half an hour.

Small Rooms very close to the old City entrance. More importantly 100m away is a motorbike parking space.

The wifi wasn't working while we were there (which to be honest we didn't really need) and soap wasn't provided until we asked.

The locaiton was incredible, you're literally in the castle! The owner is also super friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean :) Considering how expensive everything else around there is, this was a great value for money!

This is a basic accommodation so I’m not complaining about fancy BUT It’s not someplace I’d leave valuables. The interior door is flimsy and the lock is something a 5 year old could break thru. I’m glad I wasn’t alone. Hallway had a bunch of random stuff piled in The host was very kind but when we had paid for offsite parking (an additional 30 euro) we made arrangements for him to pick us up take us to the locked garage which he had the key- we arranged a pickup for 1130am and he showed up nearly an hour later 1220 so that’s frustrating when you’re trying to get on the road.

The check in was a bit rushed and chaotic. The room I stayed in was not the one I booked and it's not a hotel but rather private rooms in apartments around the city. I was offered a pricey transfer that I did not accept as local taxis charge less.

I was surprised when I arrived in the afternoon after a long trip, because I met the owner at the given address, I discovered he decided to give my room to another traveler. He passed me a new address on whatsapp and told me to reach the place on my own. I could easily find it with google maps but it was another 25 min walk through the busy city center. The room was not what showed in the pictures. Still, i gave it a fairly good punctuation because the room, although very essential, had all I needed for one night and, mainly, it was in a great spot to explore the old town. The owner was very available in his communication, that mainly happened via whatsapp, and shared tips with me on places to eat and other useful information. He allowed me to check out late and to keep my luggage there all day after check out, which made my visit to Dubrovnik easier. The place was very silent at night and I could have a good rest. It was overall a safe area.

Great value and great location. Only minutes walk from the old city. Bus stop 1 min walk from which you can access all areas of the town. Supermarket and food very close. Quiet nights sleep even on a Friday night. Good communication from host on WhatsApp.😁👍

Perfect room in the heart of Dubrovnik. Steps from the Old City gate and several beach/swimming spots- next door to a viral bakery with amazing late night sweet treats and directly across from a mini market with other snacks and fresh produce. The room does not face the street, so it’s very quiet with a lovely garden view. The host allowed us to store our bags before and after checkout and was easy to reach with any questions. Will definitely stay here again!
