Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

This place absolutely exceeded my expectations – there is literally nothing missing! Everything is so thoughtfully arranged, which makes me think the owner is a frequent traveler and has applied all the best insights from his experiences to his business. The owner is incredibly engaged and friendly, truly going the extra mile to ensure a great stay. The room was perfectly equipped, everything was clean, and nothing was broken or dirty. You honestly don’t need anything more – highly recommend!

Filip and his wife are very generous and kind, waited very late for our arrival, and even saved a parking spot on the road for us. the location is exceptional and within a short walk to the historic part of town. The room was practically brand new with all the latest amenities you could need. Amazing shower! I would highly recommend this to anyone I know. Best accommodation in Europe so far !

We weren't bothered by this (especially since Filip helped us take our luggage up!), but it's on the 3rd floor without an elevator. Bear in mind if you have mobility issues.
We had a lovely time here. Filip is a very helpful, warm host. The place is great -- lots of care and attention has been put into making this the comfortable, luxurious place it is. A well-deserved 10/10 from us !

We had such an amazing stay here and our host had really thought about everything when it came to the facilities offered in our room. Would love to come back and would recommend to anyone that is planning on visiting split.

Filip was the friendliest host. The apartments are recently renovated to a very high standard and beautifully decorated. Breakfast at the Hotel across the road a bonus extra! Great Location, easy walk to the old town. We’ll be back!

Nothing. It was great value for money.
Excellent communication with Filip leading up to arrival and the room was available early (and was immaculate)! Loved the cleanliness, attention to details including usb ports for charging and also the breakfast voucher at the hotel across the road!

Very clean and the attention to details in the suite is exceptional. The host was very helpful even helped me with the luggage. Location wise it is close to old town and to bus stops. The beach is close where you can walk to through the old town or take a bus (only 2 stops) and you'll be there.

The room was very nice and exactly how in the pictures ! Also the quality of the furniture and equipment was very nice - for example the towels are 100% cottona and super soft, the bed was very comfortable. There are a lot of little thing which are so thoughtful and not self-evident. For example the TV provides Netflix with an account made by the host, so everyone can watch, there is a coffe machine with coffee pods and creamer in every room, as well as tea, the mini fridge was filled up with water and juice and there were sweets everywhere and all of this is provides by the host, so no extra costs. The bathroom is very nice. It has a rain shower and a big mirrir which lights up, which it’s perfect for the girls. The host was very nice and reachable all the time. He checked on us every now and then and made sure we had everything we needed. The location is also very good, as you inly need 10min by foot to reach the old twon center! All in all I would absolutely recommend to book there.

There wasn’t a trash can other than the one in the bathroom.
Very well thought out, easy charging by the bed, great functional space, enough towels, and great hosts. Very clean.
