Now, for the “cons” part — although it’s more of a friendly remark. There are two TVs hanging in the room, which sounds great… except we couldn’t figure out how to turn them on. I’m not even talking about what channels might have been there. If at least one of them had been a smart TV, or equipped with a Smart Box or YouTube access, it would have been the cherry on top.

We had a wonderful stay! The biggest highlight was definitely Simon, the person who welcomed us — polite, friendly, and genuinely pleasant. Honestly, he’s the main reason I’m giving top scores everywhere. We also really enjoyed the shared area with a kitchen, a coffee machine, and an endless supply of different coffee capsules — pure joy for coffee lovers like us. The bed was incredibly comfortable — we slept like babies, soft and cozy. Plus, the location is excellent — everything is close and convenient. Overall, the place offers great value for the price.

The shower was tiny but, again, it's Europe, so I've come to expect this! We accidentally shut off our own hot water which proved for a shocking shower, but just don't be idiots like us, and you'll be fine! LOL! It wasn't a problem at all.

The location of this apartment is PERFECT - the walkability of Old Town is perfect. You are 5 minutes from everything. Our interactions with Simon were above and beyond. The place was quiet, clean, and the beds were SO comfortable. We arrived incredibly early and Simon let us store our bags in the room safely before check-in. Only one set of stairs to carry your bags, too, which, in Europe, is very good. The food and shopping and beaches around town were perfect (it's about a 20 minute walk but Jadran Beach Bar is the BEST swim spot). I will be remembering this place for the next time I get to come back to Split!

The size of the shower cabin. Also a little noise from the neighbouring rooms.

The owner is very nice. Could anwser all our questions regarding things like parking in the area. We also could leave our luggage after our check out. Location is perfect, directly in the old town. 3 minute walk to the harbour.

Simon was very attentive and a nice guy. He couldn’t offer to help anymore, it really was nice. The flat was very clean and the facilities were excellent. The location is perfect, you are minutes walk to almost everything you want in central split and it is hidden up a path so it’s not on the Main Street.

The lights in the shared entranceway need to be changed to motion sensors as people forget to turn them off and the light cones through the door.

Nothing that I disliked about this property. In the night, there were tiny flies (mosquito-like) in the room. I do not think we can do much about it anyways.

The host, Simon was super friendly and very very helpful. His response was almost instant. Felt very welcoming. The cleaning lady was very kind too. Additionally, the property was at a walkable distance from Old town, Split.

We loved our stay at Central Rooms Split, although it was a short stay (unfortunately). I would recommend this place to stay when visiting Split - it is well located, very easy and quick to go to the old town center, the room is very comfortable and tidy, and the staff is very receptive. We also thank Simon for being such an attentive, patient, and accommodating host - that was a huge help in our traveling schedules!

A small enhancement would be a bench / ottoman to put your suitcase on, as well as some wall hooks to hang bags, towels and jackets on. But honestly no complaints we loved it!

This location could not have been more convenient! Loved the proximity to the Old Town and Ocean! The staff were so helpful and accommodating and the room very clean. The air-conditioning was amazing and there was ample cupboard space!

No longer pristine but still clean and comfortable and given the price I had no complaints. Appears to be a shattered entrance to a residential building but Simon was on hand to welcome us and bring us to the right doorway.

The location was perfect! Very central and close to restaurants, bars and shopping. The rooms were very clean and very comfortable! The host was very kind, showed us the property and gave us some great recommendations. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this property!

We were greeted by the host Simon, who handed us keys and showed us the room. The area was within walking distance to all the sights of Split without being noisy at night. Thank you for your hospitality and allowing us to leave our luggage after checkout. It’s the little things like this that make a holiday in a different country wonderful.

Unfortunately the walls and doors are a bit thin. Hence, you can hear your neighbors quite well.

Amazingly friendly and well organized staff! They reserved a parking spot in a crowded parking area with their own car for us.

Simple room, bed was comfy room was spacious enough for 2 people. Nice bathroom. Didn’t make use of the other amenities but they looked plentiful. Location was fantastic, very near the old town streets (bakeries, shops, ice creams) but not in the middle of everything. Perfect location

It’s not obvious from the pictures that the property is shared with two other apartments and the kitchen is a shared space. This wasn’t a big deal for us however as we didn’t use the kitchen area too much and the people in the rooms next to us were lovely.

The host Simon was fantastic. He messaged us the day before and the day we arrived and met us at the property. He even carried the bags up the stairs :) The room itself was very clean and had everything we needed, including a coffee machine and an iron! The location was perfect and was less than 5 minutes from the main area. The cleaner was also really friendly and reminded us about clean towels and asked if we needed anything each morning when she arrived.

Excellent location. Host Simon was very responsive and helpful. Lovely cleaning lady at the apartment was very helpful too. Right in the centre of the old town, just a few minutes' walk from Riva promenade, but very quiet at night, no noise at all. Highly recommend this accommodation.
